If I where this Lia dude, I would have taken the opportunity to create a new Division for Trans people.

Any event designated for women that Thomas enters should be boycotted by women. Thomas should be alone in the pool while real women remain on the starting platforms. After a few events it would then become clear that women deserve a level playing field and will not tolerate being usurped by a cheat like Thomas.

I'm a 58 year old man. I go swimming ever week, but frankly I'm not a very strong swimmer. I regularly overtake younger women who are clearly and obviously better at swimming than I am (smoother, better form, in better physical shape), but I'm a 6 foot 4 man with longer arms and a stronger upper body. This topic is completely and utterly absurd!

My fiance was a hobby boater along with his dad when he was in high school. He is 6'0 and always been incredibly strong, even though he has never swam competitively. A female friend of his on the school water polo team challenged him to a race, because she really thought she could beat him. He barely had to try to outswim her, whereas she was gasping for breath, she was so worn out from the race. He easily beat her by a long shot and she was very humbled.

This is me and my partner! 😂 I am 5'2 and am very much the better swimmer not to mention way more athletic than he is. But he is also 6'1" and regularly outperforms me in swimming, running, kickboxing etc. it's annoying 😑

Yes, we all need to stand up for women’s rights. In the last few years I have felt people like Lia Thomas have made it their mission to hijack our identity as women. Being a man doesn’t meet their agenda, so let’s steal a woman’s identity by calling myself “Trans.” The Olympic Committee must stand their ground and NOT let Lia Thomas swim on the women’s swim team. Remember the period of the 80s and 90s when the Olympic substance testing was always focused on the Russian women participating in strength sports like weight lifting and some track and field events. They were a little suspicious of female competitors that had five o clock shadows.........LOL But at least they were biological females. Shhh! Don’t give them any ideas. I think the Russians are banned under competing under their flag this time around. Because of gymnastics qualification rules, they can’t even compete as a gymnastics team. I just hope they don’t put any of their men on the woman’s team as a vault/floor specialist because with a clean enough and difficult enough routine, they could definitely be competitive even with Simone Biles on those events. Those are two events that are the same in men and women’s gymnastics and it’s sometimes events where Russia could use some extra points. Couple that with the negative talk Simone Biles and the US team receives from the Russian coach, and I wouldn’t put it past them.

I'd also like to add that many of those EAstern athletes were given testosterone while they were young girls, without their knowledge or consent. They still suffer to this day, many had fertility issues, or their children were born with defects ... it was cheating, but it isn't quite comparable to narcissistic t***s like Thomas.

I’m a teacher and firmly stand by that teachers need to be neutral whenever in the classroom. My Muslim students need to feel just as welcomed and loved as my Christian students. Same with students from democrat or republican households. We talk about basic morals (empathy, kindness, fairness, following rules, etc.) and parents can fill in the rest of the context at home. Everyone deserves to send their child to school knowing that their home life and values won’t be disrespected. All kids need a neutral and safe place to learn in without someone imposing their own political or religious beliefs on them.

@brett, I’m pretty sure most educators at my school are not for this. They aren’t teaching it in my school. IDK, it’s everywhere now, especially in children’s programs. Even Blues Clues has gone woke. It’s at the shopping centers, everywhere. So to say that no children are learning it in their daily life outside of school would be false. Some of us really do want change, but we don’t know how. Moms for Liberty is great, but creating a Teachers for Liberty would take some guts. That’s why people need to start with public prayer.

All this in regards to the Olympics at least is irrelevant. The French Olympic committee has already confirmed trans athletes of any "gender" will not be allowed to compete. Maybe the dude should have checked that before embarking on the attempt to join the US Olympic team. Even if he is given a spot, he will not be allowed in the pool in France. Maybe he is just trying to get a free ticket to go sightseeing around Paris.

Please keep speaking out about this issue Riley. This is absolute insanity. I try to comment support on most interviews by Riley about this that come up in my feed so anyone who comes by can see there are many people who stand with her and all young women who want to compete in college sports on a level playing field.

I hope this gets squashed, this was a ridiculous idea when it started and needs to be thrown out as quickly as possible. If this is not bad enough in Canada where I am from we have a 50 year old man who is trans competing again 13 and 14 year old girls. Changing on the same room showering in the same shower all with Swim Canada's approval. This needs to change. If you wish to find it just search 50 year old trans swimmer and you will find it.

Those children and their parents should boycott and press criminal charges and sue the organization. However, several weeks ago I saw a picture where your Country’s prime minister was holding your Country’s flag but the flag was defiled with images taken from a different flag, so I presume that suing is an uphill battle.
