Im glad she didnt take her to the shelter, they definitely would have killed her. Sadly little things like some missing fur or having a black coat can cause a dog to be killed. 3 million cats and dogs killed every year in the US.Over 8300 a day. :'(

So sad when you found Vegas's other puppy, dead.. This rescue showed us the danger these Moms and their babies experience out on the streets. Thank you both.

At first I was angry at those workers for just giving away most of the puppies. But then the image of the final dead one showed on screen, and in hindsight they definitely did the right thing. 1. Those puppies were probably old enough to be weaned (so an appropriately adoptable age) 2. If they hadn't, it very much could've been more than one of those pups dead on the street for one reason or another if they left them all on the street together.

Yeah, i thought it was weird when the text on the video first said "sadly most of the puppies were given away" and thought that was supposed to be a good thing since not only are 7 puppies not living on the streets/potentially dead as i saw later, but they have homes and there is less work for HFP to do with finding adopters meaning that they can spare those resources for 7 other animals that need help. its a little sad for the mom but she will be fine and will still live a perfectly happy life knowing that 7 of her puppies are safe.

Yea as people are saying they gave them away but who knows if they are getting spayed. If those people will care for them properly. Puppys are cute which is why people take them in so fast once they get older people dont want them anymore chances are they end up on the street again😔

Don't bother with them, prayer holds power. Donating IS great, but if you just can't do so, or haven't done so....there's nothing wrong about it....there's no requirement to do it. Praying is just another way of supporting the cause!

When I was a kid my mum worked in a coffee lounge and someone had chained a german shepherd up on some waste ground to die. He was feral, and was utterly terrified. Mum took food and water out to him every day, getting a little closer each time until she was able to go right up to him and stroke him. After a few more days he was excited and happy to see her and she put a lead on him and brought him home. She named him Sam and he was the sweetest dog you could ever ask for. My sister and I were both very small and he absolutely adored us. He lived a happy life and died about 8 years later in his sleep.This was over 30 years ago now and I still think of him a lot. I even named my latest puppy Sam in his memory. Anyone who abandons an animal to die deserves to be chained upside down and pecked to death by birds. They rely on us utterly for everything and in return they give us their all.

Animals are the thing that I love most in the world, from sharks to donkeys to hairless cats, I love them all. When I see an animal with just lice or fleas I cry. So seeing the puppy like that, I couldn't stop crying for like 15 minutes.

I started crying when I saw the second one. It only had a sort life. I wish the mum and the puppy's a good life

@@cassinihuygens72 not rude at all! its better to have animals cremated because dead animals can carry diseases that harm not only other animals, but humans too. if you call a vet they can set up a cremation and give you the ashes in a lovely little box. my cat died during a surgery(old cat, we knew there was a chance he wouldnt make it), and they gave us his ashes in a box that matched his brother, and an inking of his paw print. all in all its better for the health of creatures and the environment to have an animal cremated!

Silly Bella Thank you for explaining! Personally I would prefer to have my pets buried so I’m not polluting the air by having them burned up. (I’d also prefer to be buried myself) I would also consider aquamation, which is basically cremation but with water. It’s an alternative that may be better for the environment, but I’m unsure if it’s legal in all states. Personally that’s my opinion, but I see why the puppy would need to be cremated in this case. :)

They probably disliked for the comment "sadly some of the workers gave most of the puppies away" as that is the only problem I saw in this video. I would not dislike it for that as they still do good work but it was definitely a mistake on their part to write that as it goes against what their organization is about which is to get animals off the streets and find them a loving home. Seriously, why would they put that in the video? it is just asking for dislikes.

It's so amazing to see the transformation from being terrified on the mean streets too so comfortable after being rescued and treated w tender loving care by humans.

The sweet lady who took care of them an brought her back to health. Id never again take any animal to a kill shelter and i'm glad she didn't either, shes a beauty too. This way she will find a home!! When I hear people get angry cuz someone DIDN'T take someones pet to a kill shelter , that they found. Which most would be killed because most people dont even check or do but don't check within that 5 day span. Which is practically a miracle if they do. Id rather my pet find another home then go to a shelter an be put down cuz I didn't go on a certain week he was picked up. You know what im talking about if you ever been looking at shelters for your or friends, etc pets!?

This channel is the best dog rescue channel! Ever!!!!
