Exactly. Owls, Eagles, Hawks, Vultures etc. we rescue injured birds and rehabilitate them and release them back into the wild. And if you’re the volunteer who transports the bird to the vet hospital -you get to name it! Cool huh? 🦅🦉

Hahaha! I used to raise ostriches. Good story! I once met a man who grew up in South Africa and he said as kids they would a sneak up on sleeping wild ostriches and jump on to ride them. They would jump up and run like hell. I asked him how they got off and he replied..."not my choice!" Hahaha. I love those birds!

Birds are silly creatures, that's why I love them. Even a chicken could entertain me all day. And birds stories are hilarious to me, especially because this guy is very good at telling stories. The ostrich boot part got me rolling on the bed. The mood killer was the silent audience, only a few sounds really enjoyed his comedy here...are they sleepy or just don't get him? Too bad...

Well, like an American pretending to sound Indian. :p But another commenter, claiming to hail from Nigeria, said that while it didn't sound South African, it does sound Nigerian. Not having ever visited any part of Africa myself, I'll have to take his work for it.

  • @thatomogale9803

@@ErykaSoleil Sorry only saw this today. Lol that guy is way off, Nigerians have a completely different accent. South Africa is diverse enough that I've met all three groups (Nigerians, Indians and Afrikaaners) and I can assure they sounded like accents from 3 different continents( and they kinda are). I struggle to understand any of them 😂(in English) . And also, Nigeria is closer to Spain than South Africa, so there was no chance of there really being a similarity. For reference, M'Baku in Black Panther had a mostly Nigerian accent, and Ulysees Claw did an Afrikaans one. I think I've reached TMI now. 😨

Thato Mogale : I see that, yeah. And languages are picking up words and phrases from each other like never before, for the same reason. I’m simultaneously excited by the prospect of a universal language, but also saddened by the cultural nuances that are lost as a language evolves.
