Riding 100km on a Brompton! A Journey to Remember

Ойын-сауық

In todays episode we take the Brompton P Line on its first 100km ride across some of Scotlands finest lochs and towns. These include Loch Lomond, Loch Long, Gare Loch and towns like Helensburgh, Arrochar and Balloch. We conclude the day by ending up on a train home due to unforeseen circumstances but still managed to have a great day out.

Well done. Looked amazing and I appreciate the warts-and-all honesty. Also liked the descriptions of the “sun tucked behind the clouds” and no longer feeling it “tickling your skin”! Beautiful.

Thank you ☺️. working on hard on trying to make my story format for these episode better! From what shots to capture, angels and keeping the story flown. Think I might start to add a little more history of the places I visits

The Scenery is always an easy win!! Every time I come back to Scotland just blows me away. I still need to work on my story format on these specials because I don't want the whole thing to just be me cycling but maybe try and include some history about the towns 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good work on the 100km! Most I’ve done on my S6L is 30 miles, but I want to try for 50 this year. 18 year old me did a couple of 100 mile rides, but 60 year old me has slowed down a bit! 😂

30 miles is such a pleasant ride distance indeed, 50 miles should definitely be achievable but its all about making sure to do the right route but a great goal to set for the year. That would be a great effort on a Brompton in your 60's for sure. 50 mile this year then 100 mile next year...

Good work! Head winds are most frustrating. The road looks so easy, but you feel like you pedal through molasses. Love the views into scotland, the scenery I knew from pictures, but it‘s quite interesting how similar the architecture is to my home. Thanks for sharing
