I love how realistic Gordon’s reactions are. The way he starts becoming more aggressive the more annoyed he was. Also the way he was hesitant about shooting the scientists. I just find it very impressive lol

Biggest reason I don't watch some G-man stuff or/and HF contents are those low quality and low details. Until now. This, you can see everyone's motions and expressive body language. Little bypassing details are so rich, yet while maintaining the low quality textures.

The best part of the animation has to be how well Gordon’s thoughts are conveyed through slight movements and the change in his demeanor. Even without words you can really get a feel for what’s going through his mind, from the confusion, to the annoyance, right into terror and determination. Oh and Barney probably owes him more than just a beer now, Otis however is owed some donuts from everyone else. That man is a precious resource and is without a doubt the most capable individual in all of Black Mesa, he’s a professional and doesn’t need to hear all of this.

I love how Gordon has a cult after him, and the first thing he does while escaping is just flip off every individual scientist that he can. Even while facing horrors, he's but mildly inconvenienced if anything.

The amount of emotions you gave Freeman without any words is incredible.

I am blown away by all the voice lines you've worked into a story. Things we heard repeated over and over while playing the game suddenly didn't feel redundant. Excellent animation and camera work. Great story. Incredible job with the voice lines.

I love how this feels like it could have multiple different stories to it. Is it the NPCs going rogue and rebelling against an abusive player? Is it some kind of bizarre cult that Gordon Freeman is having to deal with? Is it some kind of reality meltdown that only Gordon and that one poor Kleiner are aware of?

Maybe the other scientists keep complaining about those ties. But Gordon never does. So they suspect that he's someone sent by the administration to spy on them. Out of that fear, they want to kill them. The locker room is their point of meetings, and that one Kleiner wanted to use the toilet, but he got right in the middle of the meeting.

Ah yes the Cult of Ridicilous Ties They caused the fucking cascade just to capture Gordon and then NUKED IT ALL to hide the evidence.

I love the choreography and blocking. It adds so much personality, especially to Freeman. It's kind of how i expect he would move in Feeeman's Mind.

Really cool animation, awesome to see that Half Life still draws such a community to it some 25 years later!

The more I watch this the more I notice. Love the little stuff like the headcrab sound as the scientist lunges at the elevator and Gordon turning off the flashlight at the end. This is a work of art.

Oh Gods! It was cool! At the beginning, it all started as a kind of visualization of funny phrases of scientists, but then suddenly everything turns out to be more complicated. A certain tie cult wants to sacrifice Freeman. This was an unexpected turn of events. I liked the visualization of the expressive character animations. It looks smooth and is great. I also liked the moment at the end when Gordon saved Barney. I thought he would leave him. I immediately imagine a plot in my head in which Gordon and Barney will try to escape from the crazy cult of ties. Everything will turn out to be so serious that the cult of ties is calling on the lord of ridiculous ties from another dimension and for this they need Gordon. I understand that making even such an animation requires a lot of work and time. But I like to fantasize about what the whole story could look like, like a whole movie.
