This was Karl's bit on the old RGS. I suppose Ricky did make him a millionaire so... he can use it. Aficionados of the old XFM show will notice that Ricky has used every bit of the three's banter in everything from stand up to extras to Derek to after life. Brilliant economy.

He punches down but he also punches up - which is exactly what he did when he hosted the BAFTAs. He doesn’t discriminate, everyone is fair game whether dirt poor or the Hollywood elite. While not my favourite comic he is fearless which is needed in these ridiculously woke times were everyone is being silenced by people who can’t control their emotions.

What I like about Ricky is he is not intimidated by the left woke and is able to mock without fear as comedy originates from dark things that happen which in order to deal with humour is applied. I have worked in some pretty awful places and dark humour is a way of coping. Take this away and impose a left wing woke mindset and what kind of a society do we get.
