Комедия

The 55th episode of Ricky's radio show on Sirius XM.

I'm one of those that got dragged into all the twitter BS. It can really consume you if you try to put a troll in their place and it will steal your mojo and sap your goodness, just not worth going there. I'm still dealing with them and it's my own fault for falling into their trap. Live and learn. Sometimes i feel a right twit when listening to you all talking about twitter politics, many of us have found ourselves to various degrees sucked into it all. It affects many more of us than will care to admit. Very mature, wholesome and theraputic podcast all this, for my personal journey also. Thanks lads really appreciate it.

I think Ricky is great, easily my favourite comedian and I agree on most things he talks about and his point of view, I find them incredibly interesting, but it does get a little boring hearing the same conversation and almost literally the same words to the letter again and again and again

  • @janderson2709

It’s really bizarre. Like, if he was having these conversations with different people behind closed doors, then it would make sense. He knows he can make a good point with one quote or get a laugh with another, that’s how you might make friends in the real world. But when there is an audience listening each time, it’s incredibly odd to keep using the exact same lines of conversation. Like, the *exact same* lines.

Personally I think Ricky should completely disappear from public view for a year or so. Especially disconnect from Twitter! I used to think he was funny with a good attitude, but recently it seems he's believing his own hype too much and it's changed him into another of those annoying celebs who think they're bloody gurus who are going to enlighten us all on the errors of our ways, with less and less in the way of laughs. Still, I suppose when you're doing something just for £££s and/or $$$s this is what happens. Ricky should have a long look in the mirror & have a word with himself, ask himself why he's let his EGO get so inflated, grow a big beard , invest in a pair of dark glasses and mysteriously vanish for a while, then come back refreshed and energised , glad that that smug git from those awful DeadlySirius borefests is gone!

You do know Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky right? The Dog Star. Not being funny but after the Sun it’s arguably the most well known. The name of the station is likely something to do with this rather than a character from Harry Potter. Things you would be forgiven for not knowing might be that it’s where you get the term ‘dog days’, via the Greeks who named it. It sits in the Great Dog constellation. Orion’s dog in Greek mythology. Crops up in many other cultures and their mythology, Persian, Egyptian, Norse, etc.

Ricky loves twitter because he's got like a gazillion followers, that's what famous people do they keep talking about twitter but we all hate twitter because we get nothing out of it. Only famous people get something out of it. Every random thought he has on twitter and tens thousand people respond to him within 5 minutes, why wouldn't he love it.

Peazy Gaming Why? Because I’ve made 2 comments about it? Is that all it takes? 2 comments is too much for you to take but you’re okay with 55 podcasts full of it? Ridiculous comment. I’d delete it if I were you before you make yourself look like too much of a prick.

Well done! This is exactly what you are meant to do if you are not enjoying content. Even just clicking on the video and leaving a comment helps the content creators out so if you really don't like something, unsub! Now if all the other people moaning in the comment section could do this too.... :)

Worst thing is, he is intelligent. But it’s the clear act of *trying* to sound intelligent that is so unbecoming

That joke Ricky seems so proud of "why did the chicken cross the road - ey fuck you dude my chicken died today". Could be the worst joke I've ever heard. Why is he saying dude? Why is Ricky Gervais not the same Ricky Gervais as the Ricky Gervais that hated people saying things like "dude" and "buttlicky"

I only listened to a few minutes, but I can't believe how offended these comedian are of people not liking offensive language at their shows. It's a shame, as that Ricky guy could be quite funny if he stopped showing off and being too clever with the offensive stuff.
