I love how Conan is the only host who actually just goes along with whatever Ricky says and doesn’t feign shock. They’re like two kids just pushing the boundaries and they have the best laughs!

I think it's mostly dimwit little Jimmy Fallon, and various morning show hosts who are too stupid to get Ricky. Meyers gets him, I think. Colbert gets him. Kimmel sort of gets him, but I'll admit not fully. Conan gets him the MOST though, because his mind works similarly.

@@xooperz well, seems like it 😅 Well, it's a chain reaction. Mostly Animal products and saturated fats/oils increase cholesterol, which cloggs arteries and cause excess weight gain. Clogged arteries cause high blood pressure and eventually probably heart attack or stroke. This sets the stage for diabetes - which causes blindness, amputations and a whole other level of issues. Plenty of auto-immune diseases (Asthma etc) and last but not least cancer - which opens up the discussion about effects of Chemo, radiation and surgery, depending on which type of cancer. All of those can lead to death, and are painful in some way or another. Medication can make it bearable...but in the end, the people who suffer, are probably do feel certain level of pain each day - even if it's just emotional. No need for any of that, if we switch to a whole food plant based diet. My husband is healthy as can be. Has no disease, is normal weight, active - no pain. We just burried his best friend 3 weeks ago. He had colon, bone, and prostate cancer. He died a miserable death. In the end all his bones started breaking. His spine and breast bone broke, while je was in the hospital, on his death bed. Almost all Heart disease is 100% preventable - simple 😁✌ Sure, we'll always have environmental factors that impact health negatively, but the thing we have MOST control over is our diet. A 48 year old obese woman down the street, has had 2 knee Replacement surgeries and can't join her husband on walks anymore, can't ride a bike anymore, and doing yard work and gardening is painful. All things her husband has to do without her now.

@@johnnyparsnips7641 you're absolutely 100% right! 😀👍 couldn't agree with you more! When I see these morons Jogging on the side of a busy road 🙈 Common sense people! I know this woman who jogs 100 miles a week, for YEARS - she looks aweful, totally flabby somehow. But keeps doing it 🙄 She's vegetarian...but eats eggs and cheese - which is worse than meat! There's a big difference between what people THINK is healthy, and what actually is. To find out what that is, we must push everything to do with habit, convenience, culture, religion, Legends, myths....push it all aside, and get down to basic scientific facts. Yes, our ancestors ate meat. To survive. Just like I would have no problems eating a person to survive! You know, Crash on a Mountain type thing 😅 meat is what allowed our ancestors to survive, the reason we're here today. It's only an emergency food though. Just like you wouldn't call the fire Department to put out a candle or water your garden. They're capable of doing it....but it's not always, daily, necessary. I was riding my bike to work on the bike path, to the neighboring town - breathing more filthy air and exhaust than if I was sitting in my car breathing filtered air 🤷‍♀️ so, I started driving my car again 😂 The bike path was full of farmers with their HUGE tractors, stinky mopeds, Hunters driving their cars, big piles of fermenting cow urin and feces 🤢 I almost threw up! And oddly enough, directly after inhaling that I was sick. So, bottom line is common sense. We're not meant to jog. All these fat people I see torturing themselves and doing more damage to their joints than they ever imagined.... not necessary. We are meant to walk! Walk walk walk. How do I know that? Because that's the only way the liquid in our lymphnodes is moved along. We have 4 times more lympgnode Liquid than we do blood in the body. The blood is pumped by the heart - the Lymphsystem relies in movement. Lymphsystem Transports garbage out of our body. Do you know how often Lymphe indes get clogged? A LOT!!!! 😁 I live in the country, directly next to a farm field and forest. Most days, in walks with my dog, I only see 1 person, often nobody at all. I can walk my dog without a leash and breath fresh air. (Bike path goes through the Center of my village.) In a city I would have a higher paying job, more connections and like-minded friends, but fresh air, peace and quiet is more important 🙏😎✌

To be fair, I have quite a healthy relationship with alcohol. Never drank consistently too much - always saw it as something to be done socially and in (relative) moderation. I think being introduced to it young takes away some of the mystique. My boyfriend is Indian and didn’t have his first drink until he was 20. He doesn’t really do ‘one drink’, he’s either sober or wasted. I wonder if that’s linked to not having been introduced to booze as a normal, ‘have a drink with dinner’ thing?

When I die, I want to be put in the ground as soon as possible, without a viewing or casket, just a gravestone marking my location, and a tree planted over my heart so it will grow from my remains and my family can visit the life I gave back to the world. I feel like a grove of grave plots is much more beautiful than a row of rotting corpses in boxes.

[Spoiler: After Life S1] Not caught After Life 2 since the first turned me off. I thought the first season was indulgent and mopey, and really just Gervais' character going about his life miserably with nothing truly meaningful for the audience to root him for. The business with the addict in the finale was excessively grim. I can handle dark, but not when it's meaningless and morally abhorent. While it may be true that every individual has a right to live their lives on their own terms, that shouldn't give someone else permission to become a harbinger of demise. Especially not with addicts who are the worst decision-makers for themselves. Even right-to-die nations like Switzerland impose rigid checks and counter balances to ensure candidates are lucid and have made their decisions carefully and consciously, and are aware of the impact of their decisions. So I really wasn't sure what Gervais was trying to do with the addict story, other than think they were taking the philosophical high ground. No - that's not how humanity works.
