Way too many ads, yo. Rick Steves offers his videos for free on his website. You've set the ad frequency to less than 5 minutes between each, way too many for anyone to enjoy your channel. And do you even have permission to be posting this?

Mr. Steves I'm very disappointed in you, instead of deleting the insensitive, derogatory and prejudice comment of your previous video of the April's Fair in Andalusia, you left it. It's obvious you do not give hoot about the feelings of the Spanish people, otherwise you would not have repeated the comment about the flamenco women at the fair; "women sport outlandish dresses that would look clownish all alone". It's apparent no one taught you to respect the different cultures/peoples around world, and like they say; you can't teach an old dog to new tricks.

Perhaps you do not understand the incredibly intellectual use of the precise English language. This was not an insult but rather clearly saying how unique each fashion choice is in and of itself. That word "clownish" was complimentary usage in the context of his words. He is a sophisticated thinker who understands the often many meanings in the American English language. He is rather poetic in his narration which is likely why you took offense, not understanding his semantics.

This is the life of these cultural celebrations. Do not go and expect festivals that have no religious sources. That is how it is in Europe. The churches in particular are the early and lasting communities culturally. Produce your own festival documentary. It is nearly impossible to ignor the roots of celebrations including early pagan then church roots. Church history is European history for the last 2,000 years. Secular is a modern idea. Seriously. Go for it. Ain't happening in Europe or anywhere I can think of on the Mediterranean. Asia as well. Religiosity may be suppressed in China and North Korea only in the 20th century.
