You ought to know
It's an affair of the heart
It's an affair of the heart

Have a little blind faith, believe
It's an affair of the heart

1983 was simply an incredible year for music and this was one of them. Cassettes and boom box radios turned as loud as it could go, those were the days.

Who cares what people wear or what they do with their hair, doesn't make them any less of a rockstar or person, what matters is if they worked hard to get to where they are, it's not easy to learn an instrument, let alone create band that doesn't fight, and that plays together in time, actually write hits and then get into a record label, so much disrespect on social media for people that work so hard, it's not like their a half naked woman pretending to play an instrument just for views, we've all seen that crap, that's what it is too crap, if they had talent they wouldn't need to dress half naked

It's doesn't really matter to me, but I still remember when he came out or he was caught in the public restroom with another man. Most women fans stop listening to his music and they were the main fan base. I know it's sound absurd to you, but after that his fan base was pretty much turn off and his fame started to declined. The sales declined pretty hard too.
His #9 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from the summer of 1983

My mom would blast Rick Springfield in the car and I went to his concert when I was 5. I'm 17 now and listening to this again makes me nostalgic
I saw Rick Springfield in concert in Albany, GA. ‘Til Tuesday, who had the hit song “Voices Carry” at that time, opened for Rick. He sang songs from “Working Class Dog”, “Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet”, “Living in Oz”, “Hard To Hold” and “Tao”. That was in Jul 1985 when I was home on Leave while serving in the US Navy. Rick is an awesome performer!! ❤️🤍💙

I remember back in 1981 when Rick Springfield came to San Antonio to perform! It put me in a situation because it just happen that Rick James was also performing! When I stood in line to purchase my tickets there were mostly black people in line! Every person when they got to the ticket booth ask for Rick James! I dont know why but when I got to the ticket booth I raise my voice Nd said Rick and hesitated for a few seconds and then with a proud tone said Springfield! It was funny because the ones that heard me started to boo! But it was in a friendly manner! Never forget that moment!
Just pulsates with engrossing grooves and change ups.
I absolutely love this song. I've listened to it 356 times in the past two days. I'm in 8th grade and was born in 2002.
