Morty starts out the episode chastizing Rick for making enemies and ends up making enemies of the Narnia portal without even trying. Morty handles it exactly like Rick would exposing him has a typical hypocritical high-roader.

cant help but feel that the bird or eagle when the traveler died is a reference to the cosmic owl in adventure time, would make some sense since Justin roiland worked on that series

7:12 i first thought the tooth being knocked out was in reference to Rick saying they all have suicide teeth in the opening of the episode. Meaning when Morty gets his tooth knocked out, thats the suicide one. May not come up for a few episodes but that was my takeaway from it. didnt even notice it was a relic in the future

This is the third break down of the episode I’ve watched, and it is by far the best. So many more little things that other channels completely missed.

The soda cans is from Lawnmower dog when they are incepting Goldenfold, the two of them dressed up with all the jewelry is their rap performance from M. Night Shaym-Aliens!, and the two of them naked in the street is also from M. Night Shaym-Aliens! when they see the pop tart driving to work. Them walking past that upholstery shop is from Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind when they are hiding out in chair-people world.

I think that's good, he was getting way too op.

This episode itself might also be a reference to diablo 2 cow level, since they use a different kind of portal (like you do in the game) and you keep getting attacked by bovines constantly (since the names are hoovy and bova). And it's a very long shot but the wiser version jessica would be a nod to deckard cain.

The Rick and morty naked crystal is from season one when they are in the simulation

Rick also says: "Let's lick t*ts" in the season 4 episode 7, maybe it's a callback from that episode lol.

I bugged me so much that Morty didn’t get it was a time dilation despite calling it a “Narnia thing” at the start of the episode.

Nimbus also kept calling Rick "Richard". Is that because enemies like Namor (or maybe just Dr. Doom) often refer to Reed Richards as "Richards". Am I getting that right?

Missed one thing: Morty suits up screaming 'lets go Narnia'. Narnia's timeline accelerated at a huge rate in comparison to that of Earth's between the first two movies (books 2 and 4, I think?)

Dang that was really good. No crazy theories and guesses about the future, just Easter eggs and references. It's so refreshing. And this made me appreciate the episode about 100x more. I didnt notice any of that stuff in the background

Pretty sure the crystal where they're naked is from the Simulation episode, and the one where he's got soda strapped to his chest is the Inception one.

A Tiny feature i found, rick foreshadows "You all have suicide teeth, do what you want with that information" and later in the episode, Morty's tooth falls out (probably the suicide tooth) which could affect the future if they ever needed to use the teeth and Morty didn't have one

You did a great job! The only thing you didn't mention which was minor is at 9:51 or 9:52, you can see all three of the brothers wearing their colors: red, green, and purple. You did mention the bird and the rug however.

1:13 I’m pretty sure this crystal is referring to the episode Lawnmower Dog. You know, when Rick is trying to hijack the airplane.

I’m dead serious, they crafted an excellent fantasy world in the wine realm. It could support a whole spinoff. I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing some gritty well developed concept/fan art set in the Hoovie world.

I think the line spoken by the advanced hoovian "oh good, you're awake" was a reference to skyrim from the back of the horse drawn carriage.

Two are. The one where they're naked, and the one with the bling. The one with the soda bomb vest is from the Freddy Krueger/Inception episode.

Those last three scenes in the crystals you mentioned are scene from previous episodes; that one with Rick having soda bottles wrapped around himself is from the "Inception" parody episode, the one's where Rick and Morty are naked and where they are wearing rap star bling is from the simulation within a simulation within another simulation episode.

I think you might have missed the cybernetic liver flying out of Rick's body. Likely created as a result of his "hardest working liver in the galaxy" getting shot in the Purge episode :)

Not gonna lie I honestly kinda hope they bring Mr. Nimbus back at some point.

Where he has the bombs strapped to Rick is the episode where they incept Morty’s teacher. Where they are naked is the simulation in a simulation episode and which is the same episode they are wearing bling.

Detail #1 some of those crystals are callbacks. The bottles strapped to Rick is from that Inception episode. The “flava flav” style one is from the episode of the simulation within a simulation, with the crystal next to it also being from that episode: when Rick is naked talking to Morty about the Zigerions not liking genitals.
