The world is a sadder place now Richard and gene are gone. R.i.p legends of comedy.
Whenever life is hard on me and throws some crap my way that genuinely stresses me out I find impersonating Gene Wilder by screaming "WHA, WHA, WHA" usually helps to chill me out.

Remembering the 1st time I saw "Stir Crazy"...14 y.o and when Gene Wilder goes: "WHA...WHA...WHA!?!!!" My bother and I laughed so hard, I should've had on "Depends!" I think we broke the VCR rewinding that back & watching that scene over & over again!

this entire scene is hilarious. this is one of my favorite movies. I didn't grow up in the 80s but it's still one of my favorites.
I don't know how the man playing the judge kept a straight face😂
You know your life is not where you want it to be when the only word in your vocabulary becomes “WHA!?!?!?”

The best line (of a billion) in the movie is after Wilder says to the Judge, "We didn't do it." Pryor quickly adds, "I know I Didn't do it.":):) and when they're being taken to the vehicle,...as soon as they exit the courthouse, the way Richard cuts his eyes at the lawyer,...Man that dude is the king.

Easily one of the best scenes in the movie. You can tell the director let them improvise throughout the whole movie as you can see each one slightly cracking up. What is the last thing Richard says in the video? I can never understand it!!!

Cindy Poitier - who the hell is that ! It's not even the correct sex ! Sidney Poitier, the famous coloured actor, directed it. Poitier was a real class act - his acting was like a controlled rage - he had that vibe about him - intelligent, well spoken and calm, but I always got the feeling he was suppressing demons, metaphorically speaking, and could potentially be about to kick off at any given moment, should someone say the wrong thing to him.
