I've always been able to relate to the anxious, neurotic way Richard tells his anecdotes. It's funny to see someone having a minor panic attack while still remaining charming and hilarious. Glad to see the man's in good health.

What a guy 😅. He was such a legend. When Richard mentioned the eclipse, when he took his glasses off, I thought that was wild. He jokingly said he got them for that. I adored this guy. 😊❤❤
He was so all over the place he had me convinced he's the American Ozzy. At least I can understand what Richard was saying and he was entertaining.

IKR! Everyone keeps saying how nervous he was, I really think he got the only two numbers he had to remember for the story - BACKWARDS! He said 45 years ago, when he was 24 years old. He should have said, 24 years ago, when he was 45! HILARIOUS!

But the weird thing is,I looked it up and his first appearance on the Tonight show in 74 did have Peppard on it,but they weren't on together again after that.I think he was just making the story up for comic effect.
