    I had the great pleasure of seeing Richard Lewis perform at the Valley Forge date mentioned in this video. He was amazing. I also had the honor of meeting him. Gracious, gloriously neurotic, and wonderful. I’m heartbroken. Rest in Peace, sir. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    My hubby and I saw him many years ago at NYC's Bottom Line and sat at the front table. He was hilarious. His legacy will be- one of the greatest stand-ups of all time. His unique brand of humor was off the charts.

    i agree with you about his hair although as a man, i'm not prepared to say he was gorgeous. but i certainly have been moved to tears watching him on letterman and watching him here. carl weathers' death upset me similarly.

    Man we've lost a lot of great comics the last few years...Norm Macdonald, Bob Saget, Gilbert Gottfried, Bob 'Super Dave' Einstein and now Richard. RIP Richard....thanks for all the laffs.

    "Westbury Music Fair in New York". Growing up there and seeing countless shows and stars there I am always happy to hear it mentioned. I'm so old I remember seeing shows there when they still were a tent, not a building. 😊

    Read Richard's The Other Great Depression and it helped me more than I could imagine with my issues, never thought of therapy after that. Connected with him first time I saw him his initial appearance on Letterman. A comic genius if ever there was one.

    Saw the latest "Curb Your Enthusiasm" Tuesday so I've been worried and woke up this morning with a clear image of him with no specifics. Always reminded me of Buster Keaton and then I find out he was a huge fan of same and a friend of his wife Eleanor. So our contact was the Keaton Karass.

    This guy cracked me up when i was a kid in the 70's on Carson, many times. And he made me laugh on Curb Your enthusiasm, all the way up to last Sunday when he argued with Larry David about his will.....Three days later, he's gone. RIP Richard
