I didn't realise the original recording doesn't have strings in it - this version is definitely my favourite

This may be my favorite session, the choir and strings in the background... absolutely beautiful, not to mention rhodes himself

okay... I'm just going to say it... has anyone else noticed that in many of his live performance videos, he says "hi, I'm Rhodes." I find this to be really hilarious for some reason. Me and my partner laugh pretty loud, it's like our running joke. Rhodes really puts the expression 'man of few words' to good use. This guy is so talented. He's like the love child of Jeff Buckley and Joni Mitchel and cousin to some 80's anthem rocker.

Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting Not at all. I have a whole line of family that are musicians, so I know a lot about music. What music was before has now turned into something else. There are ton of underrated artists out there, (IN OUR GENERATION) especially all the ones that are on this channel, that dont get appreciated for their music. I appreciate an artist that picks up an instrument, and start creating music, and writing lyrics that are deep and meaningful, that is how music should be. Don't tell me that all music today, is creative. Im not giving into that Justin Bieber, skrillex and Ariana shit. No originality. Oh and by the way, dont sound butthurt, makes you look stupid and immature

***** I've never said all music today is creative, but you take the exact opposite extreme by saying that nothing in our generation is good music. That's dumb. Of course things changed, and that's a good thing; that'd be boring if things were always the same. Besides, it doesn't take a line of musician relatives to know a lot of music, so it's not really relevant to point that out. I too can say I know a lot about music, yet no one in my family is a musician. I'm barely even one myself. It just takes time and lots of searching to see that our generation is far from being screwed. All the artists you've quoted are merely the products of commercial music, and it's not true that it's only something that happened in our generation; you can go forty years back in time and you'll find commercial artists that were as bad as them. It's a fact that no one today wants to acknowledge because they're so stuck on that "it was better before" trend without even bothering to know whether it's really true or not. Which isn't.
