Why does he chemical prep the surface then take a DA to it?

They guy in this photo is kidding himself using a cartridge style mask. Guess no one told him that it will not protect him from isocyanates. Besides that using cartridges to spray a whole bed at the tech specs rhino calls for on their own website using cartridges at 1/16 thickness is way to thin to have any durability! Wonder how long before Rhino realizes this way of selling product is going to be bad for its brand.

I worked with a rhino linings dealership for 8 years, and when I was trained I was told by my trainer no less than 1/4 inch should be applied to all surfaces and in those 8 years I got pretty good at laying it down to 1/4 inch. We didnt have the cartridge system then so we used the Tuff Grip sprayed thru a gun with no trigger. You had a constant spray until you climbed down out of the bed of the truck and turned off the switch controlling the pump system. Was a hell of alot easier than trying to keep that mixing tube from clogging up!!!

arent there types of cartridges listed for use with polyurethane? or do you mean for such high volume applications a direct ventilation system is needed?
