Thanks a lot
One small extra tip, if you have to paint perpendicular on the roof for example, make sure you doing it when the bottle is full, cause otherwise you may miss paint while the bottle is inclined as the inner pistol won’t be able to aspire the paint.
Congratulations, sir. Your tutorial on the specific spray painting techniques required to achieve an even, professional finish when applying Raptor paint is invaluable. Most of the videos I have watched fail to address the vital painting issues which you discuss in detail. I now understand why so many video presenters say that, while they are satisfied with the overall end result, there is one area which did not come out exactly right. Obviously, you can not expect uniformly satisfactory results without employing consistent (and correct) application techniques. Thanks again, Marco, I would quite likely have botched my Raptor paint job for8 without your video advice. Now I feel like I have a better chance of doing it right. . . .

It's the best tutorial I have ever seen! Concise, insightful, and well structured. no BS...Congrats!
Thank you so much for a great video and advise! Applying Raptor liner tomorrow and so glad I watched this first!
Just did my 2019 Ram Rebel. It came out great, thanks to your Excellent pointers! This video answered questions I hadn't even thought of!
Excellent information. Thank you. My biggest take away - be sure I can sweep consistently for hours at a time. Will get out my hand weights in preparation for a summer application to the big van!
Thanks for the great tips the best so far
Thank you for taking the time to give us a very informative video!
I must have watched this video dozens of times in preparation to raptor line my 01 Yukon. Out of the many videos out there on raptor which I probably watched them all, this is by far the absolute best informative video on raptor liner. I did exactly what you said especially on ters on distance and keeping the gun perpendicular to the panels. My truck came out damn good. You brother, have the best video on this topic and I will definitely recommend it to everyone I run into interested in raptor lining their vehicle. Cheers!

How long did it take you to do the car, and how many coats did you do? He says take the masking tape off after 30 minutes, but I've seen people do 3 coats with an hour to dry in between sprays

@@Johnny-mo9df @Johnny Prep took like a week maybe week and a half. Paint day - I did this in Arizona, it's a tad warm here lol, a sunny day in the dead of the morning with minimal wind. Took me about 2.5 hrs to paint and I waited like 15 min between coats bc of how warm it is here. I saw another vid about spraying raptor in hot climates and they said at 30 min that bitch is dry in 90°+ weather. 1st coat light, 2nd coat heavy, 3rd coat heavish and last coat was light and mostly for texture. I would recommend 3 kits for a big SUV, I used 2 and will need to touch up the passenger side rear door a bit. Even with like 2 more bottles would do. It's been 3 mo and it still looks fucking pristine! Did mine in white and I fucking love it. I wanted something that would be easy to do, raptor is so flexible I was able to spray outside, with heat, and wind picked up towards the end. 100% recommend and follow this dudes instructions in the vid.

@@promptengineered I’m in florida, been prepping for the past few days and realized after taping off my garage that i might not have the space i need to spray. so i’ll probably pull the car outside and spray in the morning. when you say “1st coat light” did you still cover the entire vehicle? or was there some areas that got filled in more the 2nd and 3rd coats. also did you start on the roof and work your way down?
@promptengineered

@@Johnny-mo9df light in the sense that you can clearly see primer still, lots of "holes" but I used it as more of a "test run" to see the texture coming out, how far back to stand, my fan speed etc. By the time you are done with that coat you will have a pretty good idea of how to spray and that's where you go heavy on the second coat.

Amazing video.. I am new to Raptor and this answered so many questions... thank you so very much for this video... I cannot stress how good this video is... I want to spray raptor with very little texture because I want a smoother finish without it being so aggressive in texture but still give me the tough durable finish.. You answered this perfectly... Thank you my friend....

Best tutorial on Raptor . I've been shooting Raptor since the 90's. Today 2023 April I'm using the turntable kit that comes with pre measured Hardner, and pre measured Tint. Extremely Smart move on Raptors part to do pre measured kits. This is why I liked them in the 90's . They had the measurements built into the Spray bottle, simple intelligent, product!

Wow. This video is just what I needed to see. Thank you for posting. I am going to save this video so that I can watch it again before I respray my truck bed. I previously used another brand bed liner kit that I brushed on. I don't like how it turned out so I am going to redo it with the Raptor liner kit.
This was the best video I’ve seen about raptor liner. Thank you.

This is an amazing video thank you. What kind of fender flares are those in the front for the Cherokee?
I was wondering if you could add or cement in a boxed wired fresh garden along the front hood as well … raptoring around it
