You can kind of tell that Kit's had a background in stage acting - something about the way he delivers his lines.....

2:39 For all his faults (haven't read the books but have heard that Rhian did have a lot of faults though Rafal completely went over the top and definitely tipped the scales completely off) I think Rhian did genuinely love his brother.

I watched this out of context before I saw the evil movie. So I just thought it was 2:53 of Jesper Fahey beating himself up :p

2:12 SPOILER Something that the school for evil forgot - another part of his plan that he didn't mention. He said that he manipulated the stories to make good "weak and vain", but he's also manipulating evil as well by allowing it to loose, that's his alibi and protection as well as a way of undermining the evil side. Because they've lost for so long they've forgotten that evil has nothing to do with intelligence, appearances or animal species, they've forgotten that evil at its core is selfishness. It doesn't work with others and it doesn't help others. If anyone thinks that he's alive, the school for evil will think as Lady Lasso did that he's looking for someone who could be the saviour of the school and wanted them to win, they won't suspect that what he wants is just power for himself and never suspect that he may just as well betray them as well as everyone else (though if any of the staff at the school forr evil had known that the beauty teacher had been the head of the magical history department you'd think they'd have beens suspicious, or are all the teachers at the school for evil comparatively recent arrivals as compared to the school for good - though I'm hoping not, I have an idea for the uglification teacher having formerly been the schools science teacher). He's made good weak and vain and evil desperate and slacking (though some of what he's doing also plays on the vanity that's still present in evil as well), so no one sees him coming and no one is ready for him trying to destroy them both.

Ok. This may be an unpopular opinion, but they COMPLETELY messed up the movie. Literally. It’s not how the characters act, look like, or do stuff. Also. The plot is way off. If you like the books, don’t watch the movie. If you watch the movie, the books are worth a read but it’ll be mostly different
