Hort is seriously beyond great fighter. He even beat Tedros with just one hit, without a single magic. He is the Dark Horse of Never or probably the Dark Horse of S.G.E

I started out just as creeped out as Sophie at the start and then I ended up absolutely ADORING him

Was Hort completely different in the books? Yes. Did I grow to love Hort in the books? Yes. Did I absolutely adore the movie version of Hort and grin like a lovesick idiot every time he came on screen? Also yes.
