Rhesus factor

The second common blood grouping uses the Rhesus factor (Rh factor), so called because it was first discovered in Rhesus monkeys. Rhesus factor is in addition to the ABO groups. This factor is simply present or absent on the redcells. Unlike the ABO system there are no naturally occurring antibodies in the plasma, but antibodies may develop in a Rhesus negative individual if they are exposed to Rhesus positive blood.
Recipients who are Rhesus negative should therefore only receive Rhesus negative blood. If they were to be given Rhesus positive blood there would beno reaction on the first occasion, but the introduction of Rhesus antigens would cause the recipient to produce Rhesus factor antibodies. This means if the patient were to be given Rhesus positive blood on a second occasion, the new Rhesus factor antibodies would bind to the donated Rhesus factor antigen, leading to agglutination. Therefore Rhesus negative recipients may only receive Rhesus negative blood. However, in theory, Rhesus positive patients may receive Rhesus negative blood, as the red cells contain no antigens.
Once the Rhesus factor is taken into account it means that O negative is the universal donor and AB positive the universal recipient. The Rhesus factor is sometimes referred to as the D factor. This is because the most active component of the Rhesus factor antigen is termed the D factor.

    I’m a 70 year old African American woman from Louisiana and I have Rh Negative blood. I understand that according to research only Caucasians have my blood type. I had six children that are Ab positive and I had to take a shoot after each birth but my first son wasn’t protected. Throughout my pregnancies I had to take blood test often to ensure that my blood didn’t leak into my unborn child and kill it. I know it’s rare but I also have a friend I met in college and she is black and also have rh negative. Scientists and reporters need to get their facts straight

    You have had a lot of misfortune, and it is good of you to share this experience. Sounds like you were somehow exposed to Rh positive blood, even before your fist child in 1962, as it sounds like you had the antibodies in your blood already. The presence the Rh antibodies would also explain why your reaction was so severe from the Rh positive blood you were given. Good job the nurses realised what was happing to you in time. Your current blood group will still be Rh negative, but you will always have the Rh antibodies in your plasma. Lets hope you are never exposed to Rh positive blood again.

  • @Jessicadarling1989

    @Jessicadarling1989

    4 жыл бұрын

    There is plenty of space all over the cells and generally the proteins are much much smaller than the cell itself. There are also many different types of receptors for different purposes. Some are on the surface only and some are intermembrane, creating a kind of keyhole into the cell. It's normal job for example would be to help make more or less of something if it was too high or too low. Now the virus is the right key for this receptor, and so it gains entry into the cell by binding and activating it. Our bodies upregulate (make more) or downregulate (make less) receptors depending on the environment the cell is in. Too much alcohol? Make more receptors to help with the enzymatic process of alcohol metabolism. So depending on certain factors, you might have few of these receptors or many, which would then possibly impact the likelihood of infection.

    Hi, I am an A-neg type. Here are some thoughts I came up with, leading to the idea that the rh-neg characteristic identifies the 'original creation point' of Genesis. But this does not deny that other homanids may have existed on earth previous to Adamic life forms. Genesis 1:26 says that the first humans were individually designed separately from the previous animal creations that were developed differently. Also, mankind (Heb. ADAM) was intended for management, not simply for existence. This requires some kind of sensitivity for the spirit dimension and thought patterns (not simply biological). If 'the life is in the blood' (Heb. NEPHISH, meaning 'soul life'), then spiritual receptivity must be in the blood and in that case the red cells should be open (not covered). So the D antigen covering in rh positive blood cells can be preventing spiritual and conceptual sensitivity.

    I understand about antibodies forming in the the first years of a baby's life due to exposure to bacteria etc. But why would those antibodies be specifically anti-A or ant-B antibodies? What does A or B have to do with bacterial infections? If you follow that theory, then it's basically indicating that an AB type baby wouldn't develop _any_ antibodies when infected with bacteria. Which theoretically would indicate that the baby would develop no defenses against that bacteria? My understanding is that regardless of what blood type we are (A,B,AB or O) our immune system will still create antibodies specificities to whatever the infecting pathogen is. So, I don't see how bacterial exposure as a baby has anything to do specifically with A or B antigens and antibodies.

    Dr. John Campbell I saw a comment from someone born with O- blood, and now has AB+ blood. I wonder what their plasma looks like? I've read documentation that they are trying to change type A to type O, and change negatives to positives. Likely with vaccines, gmo foods and other chemicals added. One channel I follow seemed to think a negative could go positive from eating too much meat.

    Stacy most part of doctors are ignorant about people like your mother. They also say we are anemic we don't.. we don't have iron in the blood that how we are we have a huge percentage of Cooper in hour blood.. We are electric conducted.. Energy flows in hour body.. We can get with a lighting bolt in hour head that we don't die.. I don't know how many millions of watts a lightning have but its many my shoes melted and I'm alive to explain you why some die carbonized and others don't.. They also say you have hart problems we don't hour hart bets slowly than all the others ... Some of them even think the thermometer is broken it isn't we are cooler body than the rest of the bloods yes we are different we can save all lives but only people wit same blood can help us if we need it. It's not easy to be O- if I could I will like to be born with another tipe of blood. It's very common to be called satanic family blood line an things like that. I'm sic to read and see wat people say about us.. Vampires etc etc.. We cannot take other tipe of blood because hour body rejects.. You can only receive O+ if your hospital doesn't have eny other to give you.. You will have horrible pains in the kidns were the blood is filtrated is same pain as torture is horrible. It's you organism fighting wit rh+ if you don't die you are very lucky person. But you will never can accept O+ again your body makes the resistance.. Only a little bit of O+ in the blood of your mother by mistake is the sufficient to kill her. Wat you discrive here is wat I say about incompetente doctors in old times doctors have bether knolledge about people of hour tipe of blood.. Barcelona hospital is the best in the world to receive your mother. 98% of O- they are e specialists to treat people like us.. Zero problems or mistakes there. They know your normal temperature. They know how many times your hart beats. They know you don't have iron in the blood so you will never receive a iron injection that is also a torture for us.... If you like your mother next time remember to take her to Barcelona hospital.

    If your mother need blood I can give her. I just want you to know that unfortunately I'm not a royal vampire family millionaire elite like people like to say we are.. so I'm a poor person. If u pay the ticket I can go were you are and give her direct blood from my veins. Don't worry we have immunity against several virus the blood virus don't affect us. O- don't die with HIV aids.. Black plague and meny others virus since biblical times.. Wen laboratorys or hospitals didn't exist. So we can make direct transfusion from my body to your mother if you need it I'll be glad to help her. Just need a airplane ticket.. Place to stay and food. Then I come back home. It's the minimal that I can do for your mother. Have a great day. Bye.

    As I understand 'things'...as long as your unborn child also has RH Negative blood...there will be no issues. But...apparently one of your children ended up with RH Positive blood...and...for that child...YES...you would have had to take the 'shot'. Don't ask me how the Dr. knows what RH Factor is developing in a new fetus...but...apparently they do. Maybe they test your blood [early on] and that test might reveal to them the information they need. I don't know...but...somehow THEY DO. So...I ask you...the one child that you delivered where you were required to take the 'shot'...what is the RH Factor of that child? Naturally...there is NO way for me to know. But...I'm reasonably sure...it is RH Positive. If you are so inclined...please let me know. Thank You Lisa and congratulations on taking care of your family. Rx

Going in to a blood bank center to DONATE blood or plasma and them not having the courtesy of telling you what your actual blood type is! Makes NO SENSE...but...that is the reality today! maryann sevenski being negative is a recessive trait. Two parents who test positive, but each carry rh neg trait can pass those alleles to the child resulting in a negative baby. It doesn't come from only one parent or some grandparent. Both parents contribute genetic material.

  • @InAHandBasket

    @InAHandBasket

    You must carry a negative as a recessive so in fact you are O+-. The negative doesn't matter to you or your pregnancies because the positive is dominant so you would be told you are O+ but you must carry a recessive negative. I am O neg and my husband is O pos. My children turned out as O+ but because I am O neg they have indeed inherited a negative since in order for me to be negative, I do not have any rhesus positive in my blood. So in fact my children are O+-. If either of them have a baby with another who has a rhesus negative (even if it is hidden) such as A+-, B+-, AB+- or O+- then they can have a baby that is RH neg. They could pass on the negative from me and possibly from their spouse if the spouse is Rh neg or carries a non-dominat Rh negative factor. You must be O+- and the father of your daughters either has a non dominant Rh negative factor or is full RH negative.

    After looking at both rh negative and rh positive blood under a microscope the difference is significant. Rh positive looks just like a fire opal with red tone and rh negative looks like a fire opal with half red and half blue tones. The opalescent color that looks like a web I’m assuming is the plasma and it can only be seen within a few min after coming into contact with air or leaving the body not sure which. It’s possible that the plasma is star material and that’s why we are considered children of the starts perhaps this is what they refer to as the light body? And after seeing the difference in color and appearance it seems possible that the dna of negative blood types may have to do with copper/iron based blood and positive is purely iron based, that could explain the color difference but if that were the case it proves the entire medical industry is a lie because all doctors are assuming that everyone needs the same thing but this would suggest that’s not true at all but good luck finding out your blood type from your doctor it’s like a big secret! On a side note does that suggest that these places buying plasma are basically draining the soul/light body out of people and that is why there are so many monsters committing unthinkable acts out there these days because they literally sold their souls or their connection to the divine? 😅 food for thought? I probably just sound like a crazy person but it is what it is and theory’s are just theory’s until proven one way or the other.

Nobody knew until my legs and hands began to turn blue but no one noticed 7ntil it was about to my thigh and spreading (the blue). I was rushed to a ward and got complete blood transfusions and couldn’t come home for a bit. My family insists that my health problems now are rooted in that, but 8 can’t find any evidence of RH causing anything after transfusions. My mother was treated and not much is said about her aside from the fact that she was obviously pissed at a negligent doctor. I can’t see anything about any consequences after her treatment OR mine, but they are convinced. I had to have my blood checked every 6 months for years.

    You are not the only one, I feel that way, but if the Almighty created us on this earth it is because we belong here. It is a mystery that only GOD knows.

    Chavely Martínez your ancestors ate rabbits in Rome they genetically mutated there genes over spans of time. This is why they worshipped rabbit foots, and we celebrate the Easter bunny. It is all satanic pagan worship. This is the prophecy being for told in the Bible. It’s all there.

    Rhesus (Rh) factor is an inherited protein found on the surface of red blood cells. If your blood has the protein, you're Rh positive. If your blood lacks the protein, you're Rh negative. ... Having an Rh negative blood type is not an illness and usually does not affect your health. However, it can affect your pregnancy. the first rhesus blood type was discovered in 1937 by Landsteiner and Wiener, who named it after a similar factor found in rhesus monkey blood. The significance of the discovery was not immediately apparent and was only realized in 1940, after subsequent findings by Philip Levine and Rufus Stetson. The serum that led to the discovery was produced by immunizing rabbits with red blood cells from a rhesus macaque. The antigen that induced this immunization was designated by them as Rh factor to indicate that rhesus blood had been used for the production of the serum. the first rhesus blood type was discovered in 1937 by Landsteiner and Wiener, who named it after a similar factor found in rhesus monkey blood. Rhesus (Rh) factor means rhesus monkey blood.
