RFLP | Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism
Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism is a technique that uses restriction enzymes to identify variations in the homologous DNA sequences. In this technique the DNA is first isolated and fragmented with a restriction enzyme. The fragments are then transferred to a membrane and detected by a labeled probe.

2 days before a genetics exam, this is like water in the desert. Thank you so much!

Thanks alot
is this actually the same as southern blotting?
Thanks
I like the sound of your English!
whats the genetic marker
Is same as blotting?
a question, what determines the length of the band?, the presence of restriction digestion site or probe binding site on the DNA?

The restrictions digestion determines the length. The probe aims to provide a way to detect specific regions. I believe!
But how many species they are 2 or 3
Hello? What is the word after RFLP at 3:36?

Blotting means fixing a DNA on solid surface for example on nilon or nitrocellulose paper and it is used in rflp technique to fix variable lengths of DNA formed after restriction action for autoradiography
Pretty good, but please stop trying to fake an american accent and just speak like an Indian. It actually makes it a little bit harder to understand when you're putting on a fake accent...but great video otherwise
The presentation itself was very good. However, the narrator could have been better... it’s seems very pretentious and is distracting
