RFLP Explained | Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism Technique for Beginners |
Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (RFLP) is a technique that uses restriction enzymes to identify variations in the homologous DNA sequences. The DNA is first extracted and fragmented with a restriction enzyme in this technique. The fragments are then transferred to a membrane and detected by a suitable probe. We also discuss advantages and disadvantages and the real-world application of this technique.
