What’s going to happen when Chaya finds out Pete was in Eliza’s room when they got the news of Timmy.

This series is a lot of fun...a bit like Sea Patrol? However, they beat the "unrequited love" hook too much, IMHO, and takes away from the veracity of the series. We end up wondering why Pete and Eliza are so reticent, as her son gave Pete another reason to go full steam ahead with their romance. This is a bit like "Tandem"...one wonders why everybody is dancing around dysfunctional adults in their 40's, who cannot get their emotional act together, in spite of being high professional achievers, in their respective fields. LOL. Thanks, and glad I found this series. 😇

As an Eliza and Pete fan, I'm very disappointed. THIS WHOLE season was hinting at their strong feelings and love for each other. They even openly admitted what happened with the missed trip. They literally almost kissed when they were in that hotel room and he was taking care of her. Her son even came back to okay their relationship and explain everything.And then NOTHING in the season finale? No pay off. No reunion. So I don't really understand what was the point of it all. Even all the tv previews and the music suggested this season was about their journey toward each other. If there is no season 3, it's just a waste of time for Eliza and Pete fans who watched their story since season 1. When Eliza came back in S2, Pete was just beginning to date Chaya (there was no great love there). And so it makes no sense to show hints and all the talks with Pete and Eliza only to end the season in such a plain way. He still stayed with the new girlfriend despite being clearly still in love with Eliza....

Wait Pete got fired and they didn't get back together? Was that the last episode for this season? Will there be a season 3?

Yep, not a great end to the season for Pete/Eliza fans. Pete got a 6 month suspension and he & Chaya are heading back towards each other. No word on Season 3 yet.
