The wonderful voices of the veteran actors, Roger Allam and Anton Lesser has been my guilty pleasure for a long time in audio books and plays. To hear the last speech from the Tempest was such a bonus! As for Shaun Evans....Magnificent! Thank you to all who have worked so hard to deliver such excellence.

This is an incredible piece of writing, acting and film and it holds so much extra poignancy for me personally. The empty police station was so like my father’s empty office and his love of Inspector Morse combined with that is almost too much to bearded . The last time I saw him was walking out on a gravel driveway and my grief is an unfulfilled one. He broke off all contact with me and my sister over 15 years ago and I’ve not been able to have any contact with him since. I dearly wish we’d have been able to watch endeavour together. If you’re out there Dad or reading this please know that I love you and there’s never a step too far that you can’t walk back again to me.

I have watched the entirety of both Morse, and Endeavor twice. The second time through both series, I was able to focus on the character development and the performances, as the first time I was puzzling through the crime solving… the Endeavor cast, directors and writers beautifully and masterfully told the story of how young Morse became older Morse, and while young he didn’t quite have the self acceptance of his later years. Endeavor is and if itself one of the most well written and acted shows ever to be on TV, and also manages to pay tribute to a Colin Dexter, John Thaw and all the original cast of Morse. I’ll have to wait to see the final season bc I am in the US, so I’ll have to stream Inspector Lewis series!

Such a beautiful ending, so sad though, saying goodbye to Morse, Lewis & Endeavour all in one programme. Would have loved to see him work with Mc Nutt who Morse often spoke about.

I can only add to the many many compliments, as I too shed a tear as the series came to an end in such a classy, heartfelt way. Well done to all cast, crew, directors and writers. Bravo. Please bring back a one off 2 hour special.... highlighting the time between the start of the Morse series with John Thaw.... if I win the EuroMillions I will fund it myself!

I believe Colin Dexter has written in his Will that no other persons must ever portray Morse again. I could be wrong, but like you, I can never get enough of Endeavour Morse

Itv hasn't brought out the last episode yet for some reason and I haven't seen the end, but so glad to have seen this gorgeous scene. I am new to Australia and British drama and Endeavour is my first...💖 It truly puts US drama to shame in every way. I've never seen Morse but am going to look it up as I don't want to let this wo nderful series go....

I love this series about young Endeavor Morse. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch the Inspector Morse series, because I'm almost certain it wasn't shown here on television in Brazil. I'm very curious and will definitely watch it on KZread. I identify a lot with this character.
