    @@zubysan i had a few issues when I first bought it 3 years ago. You can check pretty much what I've done in my KZread video and also polished and respringed the trigger group so the trigger is a dream. I never think of upgrading to any other newer rifle. I hope the issues I had are ironed out in the gen 3.

    Thanks for your comment and also subscribing. Out of the two, I’ve found the 4.52’s do better with the Ixia but please bear in mind that whilst every barrel is made to be the same, whilst they’re machined there can be minute differences which alter the end result. So whilst this one likes 4.52 skirts, you may get one which prefers 4.51. Best to try out as many as possible to see what the barrel likes :)

    hi zubysan, could you please explain something to me? I have a walther rotex rm8 varmint in 7.5 joules I can use it to make 180-200 shots with a 232cc bottle, how is it possible that you can only make 180 shots with the reximex thrones 2 with a 480cc carbon bottle in 12 ft/lbs ?

  • @zubysan

    @zubysan

    Hi Alfie. It comes down to the amount of air required to take a specific calibre to a specific power level. For example some air rifles have higher shotcount in .22 sub 12fpe than in .177 as it takes less air to take the pellet to the specified power. In terms of your 7.5 fpe Rotex, as the power is obviously less than the power levels of the rifles I used in the video, you're going to get a same if not higher shot count, even from a smaller bottle.

It’s a bit of a strange gun dont like the mags the single shot is doggie there is high risk of the wee bullet spinning round and ending up backwards What store did you get it from ? • @zubysan

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi there. Thanks for the comment. There's no room in the case for this rifle scoped. I had to use another case. I can't comment on the Kral Empire X, but if you're in the UK and your budget is accomodates one of these, I would personally for the Ixia. Whilst it's the newest of the 2 (which sometimes has it's pros and cons), it has slightly better features than the Empire X in my opinion, and I think also it's visually more impactful! :)

    Replace the bipod rail with one of a Throne Gen 1. one to one fit. It will add another 15 cm of rail. I like the Gen 2 but Reximex dropped the ball on a few things : The bipod rail is rather useless as is the carrying case, The gen 1 carrying case was a lot better I don't want to remount my scope whenever i move my rifle. I also don't like the dual scope mount, to little holding for the rings (they can only clamp on the bottom part of the rail). I know that in the UK you are limited in power, but in the rest of the world you want a decent picatinny on a powerful rifle like the throne. Dovetail are for peashooters . If they would make it an optional thingy, I'm sure there wouldn't be many takers for dovetail.

    Yes I think you can swap the bottle over for a carbon fibre one. In terms of the trigger it can have placement adjustment but in the video I meant that I need to look to see if the different stages can be adjusted to either lighten or add weight to the trigger pull

    I have one ordered from August last, unfortunately ( for me ) only the sub12 version arrived so far. I have been told it will fit in the case with a scope attached, however it doesn't look like this in the videos I have seen, would you kindly confirm one way or another, in your follow up. Also, I intend swapping out the bottle for a 580cc or even a 700cc, the 700 only if I discover that I feel the need for a moderator, so any information you can garner on that subject would be great. Subscribed. Good luck.

  • @zubysan

    I’ll be honest there’s no way you can get a decent scope on this and then use the same box it came in. In fact I’ve put my Mito in this box with its scope on, and that fits perfectly but it’s a considerably smaller gun. The Ixia is now in a larger hardcase which allows the rifle and a scope to sit comfortably

    I love the way it looks, but that safety even though it looks kind of cool I hate Auto Safety of any type on my air rifles. I had one on my Hatsan Gladius 25 caliber never liked it, I ended up selling it. What I really like about it is that you could change the caliber easily on that rifle.

  • @zubysan
