After this time the rifle is still great to shoot; I’ve updated the grip to one with a palm shelf and also put an mlok bipod on it. It’s looking now extremely tactical. Overall one of my favourites which I’m using to teach my son to shoot.

You claim the grouping is not too shabby, REALLY? It's a two and half inch group at 25 yards, it's terrible. However you can not gauge any rifles accuracy on one type of pellet, unless you get lucky finding the best suited pellet for the barrel in your first choice of pellets. The rifle may do better with the best suited pellets and may achieve half inch groups at 25 yards. It's all trial and error. If you watch Andys Airgun Reviews you'll see that he got a one inch group at 40 meters.

Vector Air do this check with all their rifles. They are superb at customer care and if you order a rifle from them you’ve nothing to worry about. Its better they do the check to ensure everything is complete before it goes form them to the customer because the manufacturers do miss things from time to time

Nice looking rifle, love the stock colour, I used to have HW100kt with the brown laminate stock, I only swapped that one due the KT's poor shot count, which wasn't suitable for bench rest shooting, so changed the HW100kt for a FX Dreamline, I recently purchased a new Hw80 Luxus & I'm seriously considering going back to a HW100 as well, my airgun shooting is now only "occasional" due to a historic back injury which has resurfaced itself recently. I have subscribed, so will be following you from now on👍

I like the HW100 buy i would never pay so much extra for only a grey-red laminate stock with 125 on it. Daystate, Air Arms, BSA are even worse with this special editions all the time to score more selling. The totally red, to dominant left side from the front stock does i my opinion mismatch the right side. I will always always prefer the more reliable and also great shooting HW98. If you don't mount that scope so stupid high than you can also lower your cheek piece and will make things way more easy or even consider mounting a beaver if there is need for hold compensation. Cheers!

Your GAMO r12 with that diving bottle and a way to short front stock to get a good hold with free hand shooting?😆 The HW100 is a totally other level PCP, but it's still a PCP, no shooting skills needed, boring to shoot and less reliable than the HW98. I'm a HW guy but my PCP is the more elegant, pretty reliable, better looking and lighter AirArms S410 with a nice walnut stock. The S510 if you prefer side lever loading. Cheers!

@rapalaron6348 ok we have one here now. it must be an old prick.. have you know I repair hw 35 80 99. They are great.... hw100 is heavier than my bsa British made . So wrong there .. the stock is beautiful made by the Italians ... I do a lot of hunting with one and it's more than ideal for the job... we are not living in the 80s now bud plinking at cans .

@@johnfiore9390 Are you trying to learn me something buddy? Right, a British made Gamo CFX using the famous BSA name to sell better. Did you also know that Gamo also invented the thumb screw again? They use it in the standard CFX and it's called now the CFX r12 Take Down 😆😆😆 Cost a bit more but than you have something....Sorry you'll get a china made hard plastic case with foam inlay with it. The Italian stocks are made by Minelli so you know that too. I've shot the CFX and it can be a great gun for midgets with their short arms... Yeah i could imagine you're a can plinker 🤣

@@johnfiore9390 I'm sorry i hurt your arrogant Gamo feelings buddy. I had for example a nearly brand new GAMO made BSA spitfire 10 with a very nice Minelli stock in my hands last month. I could move the Gamo barrel from left to right and it did not even had a adjustable bolt in the reciever to tighten. The cheapest china break barrel rubbish you'll find an adjustable bolt and not a pivot pin with a C clip on each side. BSA is a joke nowadays.... What do you mean with "you run a gun club"? Does that automatically mean you know about air rifles? 😆😆😆Problems with reading too? I wrote the r12 was made in the UK but not even close to the good old BSA standards. Just a GAMO using the BSA name...Buy a PCP with the Gamo name stamped on it and you'll have about the same quality for less money.
