Really fun deck its fun to see all the unique creatures that don't see much play otherwise. I do feel like room should be made for Training Grounds, Manifold Key, and Thousand Year Elixir as they all synergize really well with the idea of the deck by letting you get more uses out of Rex. I'm the sure the upcoming Energy Deck and maybe general cards in boosters from MH3 will bring more stuff for rex.

Thanks! Glad you liked it! For sure, I love putting obscure and unused cards in my deck. You could definitely add those suggestions to the deck. I just wanted to focus more on the strange yet busted things you could do with unknown cards. But you could make the deck more streamlined by adding those support pieces.

Exchange of Words to steal an opponent’s commander’s activated ability! The text box remains exchanged until the enchantment itself is removed. Also Robaran’s Mercenaries has all activated abilities of legendary creatures you control essentially giving you another Rex.

Ooh! I love Exchange of Words!

Rex really spoke to me the second I saw him. I am not a combo player at all, so I'm specifically trying to avoid them, but some creatures not mentioned here that really stood out to me are: Electrostatic Pummeler Multiform Wonder Surge Engine Mindshrieker I can wait to put this deck together. It feels like it's going to do a new crazy thing every game just like my Shelob deck.

Those are good cards. I steered clear from the 1st two because I want to invest my energy in exiling creatures with brain counters. Mindshrieker is an amazing one but requires mana, which is why I stuck to Phyrexian Devourer. That being said, Mindshrieker is still a good redundant effect.

​@TheCommanderTavern electrostatic pummeler is just an optional wincon but it's particularly useful when using those fire-breathing effects you are using.
