Rewilding made simple: an animated guide
Could the destruction of the natural world be reversed? Could our bare hills once more support a rich and thriving ecosystem, containing wolves, lynx, moose, bison, wolverines and boar? Does our wildlife still bear the marks of the great beasts that once roamed here? George Monbiot narrates an animation on the enchanting subject of rewilding.

Hey there Faheem - he have a whole playlist of them right here but we'll be doing a lot more like this soon... Bitcoin explained and made simple | Guardian Animations
Fuck yea. Come on rewilders!
@21:3 - are already spreading fast, are they? Not fast enough, I think you'll find! Someone should have told the animator that rewildering does not equate to closed-canopy forests exclusively. Some meadows/mosaic is crucial to megaherbivors. Highly recommend Paul Jepson's Rewilding book.
Y E S !!! I want this
another 8 000 houses being built near me theres nothing to rewild
This sounds so amazing! Sign me up, I’m all for it!
Rewilding isn't just about habitat restoration. Since it requires reforestation -- while that's wildlife's main habitat -- forests also stabilize climate, so reforestation is integral to averting the climate chaos we do face if we continue using petroleum and deforest. Forest's are also key to nature's hydrology, plus they're nature's carbon sink the oceans were never meant to become. Please advocate for reforestation & against continued petroleum use, for posterity.
Who is here from our online class
Do you need a degree or some kind of education to do this? I'd like to know.

Can you call your government and find more information about introducing laws in your country/community? Can you establish your contacts with people from different places who could help you catch those animals and release them into wilderness? Can you learn all of this? If you can, then start learning and becoming an expert will be your degree. Once someone is an expert, then people go to him and doesn't care what paper he got on a wall. :)

@@dusan19377 Thank you 😀
I wonder how well this has been thought out before its too late to say oops 😬
Uh, I'm not sure I want a hippo in my swimming area; they're dangerous! I prefer wildlife corridors, so they can move from one uninhabited (by people) area to another.
We should introduce lions elephants zebras giraffes and rhinos to South America
