Revology Car Review | 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet 2+2 Fastback in Acapulco Blue Metallic

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is car #145, a Revology 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet 2+2 Fastback in Acapulco Blue Metallic. Midway through the 1968 model year, Ford introduced the Mustang Cobra Jet. Its 428 cubic inch V8 was at the time the most powerful production engine ever produced by Ford. Likewise, Revology’s Cobra Jet features the most powerful engine ever offered in a Revology Mustang-the same 710hp supercharged 5.0L Ti-VCT “Coyote” V8 found in the Revology Shelby GT500. Like the GT500, the Cobra Jet has an aluminum front subframe, heavy duty cooling system, external oil cooler, unique exhaust, and heavy-duty driveline. The Revology Cobra Jet is easily identifiable by its unique domed fiberglass hood with “Cobra Jet” badging and Raven Black hood and cowl striping. In this video, Tom will talk about the drivability, performance, and unique character of the Revology Cobra Jet.

Having kept up with your builds for some time now, Tom, I have to say that the 68 Fastback has probably become my favorite! This is another work of art. Congrats to you and your team!

This is so amazing Tom Scarpello and Revology team. I heard many requesting a Boss edition as well. Nevertheless, it's amazing to see you guys grow! All the best to everyone at Revology! 🔥🔥🔥👍🏾😊

I was born in 68’ and have always wanted a 68’ Mustang. This is probably the nicest one I’ve seen. I guess I’ll just have to get by with my 2012 GT500 for now.

Wow, I would love to own that stang. I love everything you have done, perfect ride. I had the same car when I was 18, but nothing close to that. I can only dream about that 68. Beautiful Car.

This is it, the perfect combo! Blue, black interior, vintage radio, manual and deleted console! This owner has good taste! I'd go for the "plain" 68 GT fastback though.

Drop one of those into a 69 Mach 1 which in my humble opinion are the best looking mustangs ever made. Don't misunderstand me there are some other fine looking mustangs top of the one in this video right here is fine but it's not a 69 Mach 1 :-)

I could wrong but the statement the 428 was the most powerful engine should read 2nd,427 Cougar GTE shouldn't be #1.

it better be when they’re selling for 300k, unless you have money to throw around then you’re better off buying a cheap original model and working on it as a project

Quite big physically, yes. I don't know how it compares to biggest mustang engines from the past though. For example, the '70 big block, or the 428+ ci engines.

Disgrace using the Cobra Jet name to try and sell your cars! There is nothing related with your resto mod to a REAL Cobra Jet.
