I like the Calista side better. I can still see some wave on the top of your head that the Revlon didn't straighten. It looks like ridges. I have noticed the same with some of my hair strands as well. I think the Calista did a better job. I also have played with the Revlon one and when I am ready to end the strand I'm workin on, I unravel it while curling it and I'm able to have a sleek curl throughout as well, very similar to the look you showed with the Calista. You should try it!

Hi ,good job with both,but in my own personal experience, I bought the Calista hot brush and it stop working within 2 months,a waste of money, I like it but for that kind of money it's not good if don't last. Blessings and good luck to all that buy it.

The Calista looks like it might be easier to clean and the bristles look more durable but the Revlon is so fast and easy to use, best $60 I've ever spent on my hair!

Hi Julissa, what about a comparison between the Revlon hair dryer volumique and the new Hot Tools hair dryer brush ? People have been really positive about the Hot Tools maybe even better than the Revlon hair drier brush ? What do you think ?

Team Calista - although both gave great results - but think the Calista was better. One issue you were silent about was the weight of the stylers. Some persons like myself have trouble holing heavy items - even a blow ryer I got on Amazon toute as lightweight was too heavy for me to hanle. Actually I got a Calista when QVC ha it on sale - it's barely a lb & I can hanle it thankfully (I have fine hair with a perm & color). I like it so much that when the Q ha another sale on it - incluing stuff such as thirsty hea towels & an attachment that makes rying faster I bought 2 of them as backups. Touch woo - the 1st one still works after a few years. ;) The Revlon looks nice - but appears to be heavier & not as helpful if someone has short hair.

I love the Revlon side. I prefer a sleek look and something a bit quicker (with the size). If it didn't get the roots properly, I'd probably just use a flat iron really quick over them, personally (would probably be quicker than trying to get the Revlon to perfect it). I'm not as big of a fan of having my hair slightly wavy like that (I prefer either my natural curls or very wavy, over slight waves the Calista does, if I'm not doing straight).

I still like the Revlon side better !! Gosh I still don’t have one but so need to get it because to me it always wins !! ❤️

I’m watching this on QVC right now for $69.99. I bought my Revlon on a Black Friday Sale on Amazon for a bit over $30.00. I know it was an Amazing deal. I love my Revlon except for the large size handle. Other than that, I’m completely satisfied with Revlon.

you can curl you hair also with the revlon, just turn it during the blow out the result is fantastic

I love the revlon brush! I actually can give myself a bit of a wave and bounce with it by using it vertically instead of horizontally. What product did you use to prep the hair? Do you still use the living proof spray?

Well first I love the revlon...you are the reason I bought it and it literally cuts down my blow drying time from 1hour 30 mins (including flat iron) to 20 mins!!!!!! As for calista it looks nice but it’s 100 so I would get it if it was 60 like revlon but I’m obsessed with my revlon!!!!

I bought a Calista StyleDryer and it worked really well but it is *very, very loud*. I ended up returning it because of how loud it was because I think having that decibel level so close to my ears is unsafe.

I just sent it back. The revlon one .It made a horrible noise. My hair is also short. The review on amazon said it breaks after a couple of months of usage.....

Hi! How cold is the cool setting? I have just received mine and it seems that the cool setting is still pretty warm, at least compared to more powerful hairdryers.

I returned my revloncoz it wasnt powerful enough and the cool setting was warm. It wasnt loud like how people claim it to be. So I gave it back....too many issues with revlon.....

See, I would use the Revlon for an all over quick done and then the calista to really go in the roots and curl the hair because it’s already dry and it’ll be a quicker done and go 👀 lmao Idk

A little tip for you!! If you want you hair to look bouncyer when you use the Revlon one you got to use it like you would use a round brush instead of a paddle brush like you are doing, so instead of going on top of your hair and turning at the ends, you have to go under your hair and roll it around the brush so you feel just a little tension, and you continue to turn moving slowy down your hair... I'm not sur if i'm clear, but if you found a tutorial on how to use a round brush you will see what I mean... I swear to you it makes a world of difference in the bounce!! ☺️

TheBwil32 Yes! The Calista one does take maybe about 5-10 minutes more (in total) than the Revlon one.

Hy Julissa. You look beautiful like always. I like the Revlon better. I just bought the Revlon brush I just pay $47.00 plus taxes so I end up paying $51.00. I like it but I don't use it too hot and also it pull my hair a little but I like it. Great video as always keep up the good job God bless you

I know! 😔 happens to me too especially in the warmer weather! In the winter I don’t have that problem but now that it’s getting warmer and more humid, I do have that problem 😩 sometimes I straighten my hair with a flat iron and if not, I’ll do a tubi when I’m home and just put my hair down when I go out 😊

I always have a glass of ice water close by when I blow dry.

I usually love the revlon just cuz you get a nice smooth & shine look, but i love the calista side came out.. Both do a good job but the Calista removes alot of your curl wave.

Revlon is much better

Have you thought about reviewing the new Calista StyleDryer Pro? It looks like a mashup between the original StyleDryer and the Revlon One Step and the Drybar Doubleshot, with a more acceptable pricepoint than the original Calista StyleDryer ($69 vs $109 - $129) I'd really be interested in your thoughts on it.

Calisa has to many fly aways.

I don't know why they are making one step dryers with terrible quality products !! Plastic or bristles don't last a year 😡😡🤬
