When cutting galvanized material, turn up your gas flow and use a little more oxygen to blow the slag away from the tip. Also hold your torch further away to prevent blow back from reaching the tip. This also works with rusted steel.

I think this is my fourth time watching this video, Daddy corn star is way tooooooo funny. Love how he finds his way onto the video, jumps in and out, acts like a clown, and comes up with funny one liners. Again, Cole it always amazes me the knowledge you have of the farm equipment and the vehicles on the farm. Would love to have Nave and Mamma corn star post some of their receipts.

A little tip with all tires start with the 12 o clock lug nut. It will keep the rim going on flat so you won't warp a rim.

Did I totally miss the fella with the porch plans?? Holy moly!! I am just about as excited as Cole and Hneiva to see what’s going to happen on the front of that mansion!!! The last 20 years of scrapping I've rarely used a torch. I can cut much quicker and cheaper with a sawzall and a good blade especially items like augers and other mostly tin equipment. I use a Milwaukee 18v Fuel series sawzall and 6" and 12" Torch blades by Milwaukee. I've done whole 70' augers in 30 min with one 9.0 battery and 2 blades. Wish I was closer Cole I'd be there to help you. Nothing more satisfying then a clean farm.

as expensive as gasses are getting that's a good idea. most of the oilfeld scrappers use propane instead of acetylene it's cheaper and you can use 100# bottles and for the oxy they use the huge hospital bottles because you ain't cutting up old casing a drill pipe and drill collars and tanks etc. with no sawzall

I really like the Torch blades. Been using them for a little bit now and they're noticeably better than the others I've tried. I think Project Farm concluded that the Diablos are a bit better though. Might try those next.

Cole, to clean the tip use an old 2×4 or some old flat piece if wood. With torch going rub the tip against the wood. It will burn the wood some but will clean the tip and flames will go out on the wood pretty quick.

Its an m715 made during the Kaiser era. There are several facebook groups for them, its considered a fullsize jeep or fsj and you could easily sell it on there

I like those individuals who rebuild/restore old cars and equipment. Preserving history.

looks ar my dad, 120m2 full of oddball parts, 24 engines, 15 gearboxes and 10 land rovers from 1961 to 1983. said he has enough parts but if something gets the scrapman threat he goes and collect.

Hey Cooooooooole! Use the flatbed semi truck to load the augers on and run them to the scrap yard.

Speaking of fuel tank behind the seat.....my brother-in-law had a 1971 red Corvette. Well, the gas tank had rusted out and so he had a plastic container/tub in the backseat (if you can call that little space a back seat) with a hose to...wherever the gas had to go and he drove it around like that ! DaddyC ! "Dumpzoo" !! x-D AbsoloLUTELY go and spend some time w/family !! Enjoy the eats and conversation !

Cutting augers into 12ft great idea, mite find some good flighting etc so may take longer but post for sale for other folk needing part's before scraping. Same with the framing and axles
