Exploring My ABANDONED Junkyard!
For 80 years, my yard has been an abandoned mess. I am tired of looking at it, so I am going to clean it up. This could be the largest project I have even taken on. Welcome to my adventure!

Cole has taken dumpster truck after dumpster truck to the scrap yard in the past! He’s not done yet, I’m sure! I think the prices went down and winter farming took precedents for awhile.

I can empathize with Cole and the clean up he is facing. My husband and I have moved onto the farm where my mother was born and raised. We just did a little walk about and there is soooooo much cleanup to be done. We aren’t going to run out of anything to do for quite a while. Oh yea and we also need to plan for a 🎈🎈90th birthday party 🎉🎉for mother who will also be living here.
I hope that when you’re done cleaning up, you show us some before and after pictures. I enjoy watching every single video

Agreed. Drone footage would be _awesome!_
I LOVED this video! DC was great at the beginning -- But the best opening EVER is always, "Hey, Everybody! You're watching Cole the Cornstar!" (Never gets old for me!) And then -- seeing all that MESS that's going to go! That's another favorite thing I love! (The interaction with all the friends is great too!) Just loved it!
Sable is such a good sport. Learns new equipment with a smile on her face. Such a winner
I loved Sable's face when she was talking to Daddy Cornstar! He is always saying silly things.
Your intro with DC and the little doggies reminds me of something I say instead of swearing. I say OH HeeeL Gnaw! And I envision Little Yappy Doggies that GNAW at my HEELS! Too Cute! Thank you for sharing your Farm Life. It is a real day brightener for me!
Look at her y'all! She's getting the jargon down. Respect Sable.
Sable ur a natural. It’s inspiring to watch u grow along side the Cornstar family.
DCS is hilarious about the piranhas!🤣

When DC calls it the tickle bone that is my favorite!!!!!!!!
If I may offer a suggestion on your barn doors. Rent a core drill, bore a hole where the doors meet, then drop in a piece of pipe. The doors will get stopped by that pipe. The pipe will be removable, allowing you to open and close and drive in and out without issues. Plus, you won't have to worry about any damage being done to the equipment when the wind does blow against the doors. No more backing your equipment into the doors to act as a back stop. Cheers :)
Your Grandpa sure made one hell of a mess over the years on your farm. Props for all the hard work cleaning it up.
Cole and DC just make me smile!
PS. Thanks, Summer! Great job! -- And on a Sunday! Yahoo!
3:59 Sable "send it if you will" next thing we see her jumping the ticklebone over the large machine shed.
"I tend to underestimate projects"....😂 I have starred in that movie a few times...
Hi Grandma Judy and Grandpa John ! ❤️
Hey Cole, i"m 80 and as old as your yard with the abandoned mess, only I'm the one that's an abandoned mess. Please slow down a little. I get exhausted after watching you for only a few minutes. LOL
I imagine there are interesting stories behind each one of those old pieces of equipment. A lot of the Depression-era generation saved everything!
Project resource budgeting 101 rule of thumb: Estimate the time you think it will take and double it. Then take that number and triple it. That will be about what it will take. That has worked for me.
Excited to see the junk yard slowly being cleaned up. It will be good having an environmentally safe area. And, I just love trying to guess how much money and pounds you take to city junk yard.

Sell for scrap metal!
I love the way Daddy CornStar works so well with his sons, how he counts on their opinions and their work ethic. My brother and father worked together in our 4 generation Butcher shop. I always wondered considering the number of knives at an easy reach when I’d get the call that one stabbed the other...I kid you not, shocking I know it was awful. ☮️💟✝️
Nothing to it but to do it. I love that saying buy Cole the CornStar 👍❤️🙂🙃
Cole, please consider saving ONE piece of vintage farming equipment to pay homage to your grandfather and great-grandfather and it will serve as architectural interest in your landscaped backyard . To cut cost, you can also see if a student your college's Landscape Architectural School can draw up some plans. Then you will also be helping that student!

Woot woot. Ya did the intro 👍🏼🤘🏼
I think the telehandler should be called the ticklerbone from now on.👍🏻
I thought you took a lot of scrap out last summer, but this looks like as much if not more then you already taken out.
I would have to save most of your scrap. Having to fix things with scrap pieces is just a way of life. Good video !
As well as you take care of all of your equipment, I’d really like to see you show some love to that Oliver Tractor. A little paint and some wax, would go a long way!
Cole that is a fun project for you this summer. Love you guys. 🥰♥️💖🌽🌽
3:42 nice effects with the hair Sable😋
i would LOVE to see Cole get a metal shredder and just shred all that metal and bury it in small pieces. You know the kinda shredder that can rip an engine block into confetti !!!
I don't know what ya"ll call it. I call it long neck fork lift! I do know how to drive and operate that🙃 Thank for the great content Cornstar Family!! I love junk yards!!!!
you have a lot of plans for the summer: grove clean up, siding, renovate house first floor...Good luck!
Looks like you have enough scrap to fill 3 semis!!! Lol great video cole!!
another great job guys and young lady. thank you for your very hard work
The grove will look beautiful once finished. It might take you some time, but it will be worth it.
That grass is rapid grow tall rescue.I live in Michigan and we use 1/2 tall fescue mixed with 1/2 Kentucky blue grass and our grass is very lush.Thought you may see this comment here as I am catching up on your last to videos.Stay blessed family.I can't believe you're almost to 500,000 subs.Good for you Cole. 😊😊😊
I have figured out you like order and clean spaces! I do too! You go bro!
That grove is akin to the growth rings on tree. It tells the history of Cornstar Farms. You're an archeologist.
Yeah the grove clean up is going to be a long project. I can't imagine trying to get both the grove and house renos done in the same summer, but I know you are a hard worker!
Cole has a lot of projects going at once .busy man 😀

The grass next to the grain bin looks like Fescue.
Cole's descendants are going to want to build another bin site in the grove area and their EPA survey will discover all the buried treasures that will then be considered items of historical significance and prevent their project. 🤣

If you hosted a giant BBQ - I bet you could get a ton of people out to tour your farm and help clean up the grove. :) I know I would volunteer for some of Mamma Cornstars cooking.
Wow metal graveyard! Good luck with that!!! Nothing for a Cornstar 👍

Um....................NOOOOOOOO.
Great job Sable!!
Cole there are professional scrappers that will come out, cut up all that iron and haul it away for a percentage of whatever it brings at the scrap yard. It would save you a lot of work. Just a thought.
All that junk medal should be worth at least $1000.00 dollars at the medal salvage.....that'll almost pay for a good portion of the front porch.......
I’d leave one or two of the frames that have trees growing through them to remember what it used to look like plus it takes a long time for something like that to happen
Cole...in alllll your free time...we really need to get going on the DC merch line..we could help with the one liners...leave a pinned comment and ask viewers to drop their face DC one liner. Now that will sell!
There are places that can recycle alot of your metal/grain dryers. They can drive there with a big truck that has a boom that crushes/picks up the metal. It doesnt cost much.
Fescue grass mixed in your blue grass is needed.
You know, the big Massey would look AWESOME with a set of LSWs too! Lolol
DC, chili, chilly, got ya.I am smelling what you’re cooking!

I wonder if the cause of Cooper's problem was that chili ? 😏
Just a quick thought. You guys have trouble with algae in your clear water tanks? You can paint them possibly to make them opaque and it doesn’t grow. Keep going your doing great 👍🏼!❤️🖖🏼😏
Thanks for the traditional intro. Missed hearing it.

Love your into. It’s terrific and uplifting.
Cole, have you thought about putting an ad on FB calling for metal scrappers to come get all that metal? That way you don't have to bury it. Also, what happened to you taking it to the scrap yard? For awhile, you had a lot of videos of that. Extra 💰.
I think I missed something!!?? I thought the massive clean up of scrap metal to be able to do your yard was the bone pile! Obviously I was wrong! My heavens your Grandad never threw anything away. Now that you showed the neighbors yard I get the urgency! It’s a competition you’ve never been able to compete in before!! I have no doubt the neighbors love you but I bet they’re secretly doing the happy dance every time you haul off a load!
Laughs for everyone!
The dods made my day 👌🏼
So fun to watch lots going on god bless
Hey DC Reverend Paul here Eustis, Florida what's up bro...??.... ur like me a lot tryin to talk....lol.... I get my tongue wrapped around my eyetooth and can't see how to talk.....lol.... now bro being a Preacher I've had the congregation is tears at times...... give u an example man... growing up remember how the ladies wore their hair up in "bun's" well I was preaching at a large Church and said I remember when the ladies would shout their buns off..... (IT WAS A YOUNG CROWD)......had to stop and explain what that saying ment.... God Bless you and yours Sir Rev. Paul M Vining Sr
You may have to hire Nave to grind up those old grain dryers! 😂😂👍👍
Hey, pay attention to the magnet valves (if that's what is called like in English) in the powershift of this Magnum. We had these go bad in our 2010 Magnum and it cost a lot..
That ol' grove may take a week to clear. You can do it!!
Darn, I'm 24 hours late to the Cornstar Video Extraveganza! What did I miss?
So many chores in just eight minutes. I think I better watch that again because it went by so fast I probably missed something.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌽 🌟
Oh the treasures yet to be discovered in the forgotten grove!!! Take care & stay safe. Cheers
Love your channel! Can’t wait for planting!
People always overestimate what they can get done in a day, but we underestimate what we can get done in a week.
Thanks for the business sorry I didn’t get to meet any of you. Have a safe spring.
We had a bunch of junk that piled up over the years so when the scrap prices went up several years back I got some guys to come clean it up on half, that worked out really good we both made some money and all the junk got cleaned up
Good job cole
I was for sure that daddy cornstar was going to sing black dog by Led Zeppelin 0:53
Hello Cole ,love your videos and enjoy seeing your family.
Yay ya’ll!!!! Busy place today!!!! Lol
As someone with OCD, I am so happy to see you cleaning up that old, ancient crap off the property. Now to just get you to stop wearing those dumb sun glasses. Throwback to Randy Savage. LOL
Send it, Sable! Send it.
its amazing how much soybean seed is a ripe off. save some beans that did well from the last year and plant. ya u don't get the seed dealer bug coating but u don't have the seed dealer cost.
Chili soup with heinz ketchup. YUM YUM
I bet the Ticklebone could move that grain dryer around. 💪
There’s gotta be a scrap metal company that would come take all this and pay you for it. Some thing make more sense to contract out
