Another montero video. This is my first LWB Gen 1 and I have to say I am going to miss it. If any of you are interested in purchasing it please DM me on instagram

Thanks for this video. I have a a 91 LS that I love. It's my second '91. The first one (which I drove for the last 12 years) just went to the "farm in the country" due to high mileage, brakes, fuel lines (etc) and RUST. But not before being stripped for parts. My "new" '91 was a barn find with only 75K on the clock. I hope to keep it as long as I will live. (I'm 67). Just had it Ziebarted last week as I live in Chicago with all the salt in the winter. These are the coolest trucks and always get interest from the passing trafffic. You should get a great price for that rig. Old "Japanese iron" is making a comeback in pricing. I recently saw a '91 with 250+K go for $16K.

It's worth buying yours after it's all been thoroughly documented on video. I have trust issues (lol) but seeing all the hard work makes a compelling case for buying yours specifically!

I just picked up a Gen1 last weekend, almost like this one's twin. 89 LWB, V6, LSD rear, bouncy seat, same color interior. It has even more miles at 374k, but drove it home.

Great video. I got a 1990 four door manual and I love it. Hope to keep it forever. Had a rough summer with it. Crank but no start. New distributor and the ignition control module and it started. Now it’s running rough. Idle is surging. Think I need a new throttle body. Won’t be cheap but worth it

great work, I am about to do my valve cover gasket and lifters on my 89 v6 montero. I have that nasty lifter tick. can you do the valve stem seals without removing the heads?

Good job bro where did you get all the parts. I have a 89 that I want to do pretty much the same service you did. Thanks for the video.
