I work as structural CAD technician, so thank you for making these videos for structural engineering as well, most videos in KZread are for architectural modelling.
I was stuck on structural connexion since 2 days, no other tuto on youtube explains that you have to turn on some graphics to see the actual connection in the view. Thank you sooo much, u da best !
thanks man it was very helpful and you're amazing, good luck
Thank you, this was very helpful. I draw mechanicals and I’ve tried to use structural steel to make equipment frames in the past and gave up. Now I know some of the reasoning behind certain rules.
I learned from you more than i learned from my architecture school 😊 thanks to you.

Very interesting and understandable explanation. Thx
Thank you BA ! I learnt alot
Probably because Revit make tolerance about everything so when you welding 2 pieces of steel there is a gap or separation tolerance to make the welding, i think this could be the situation
Probably not "Balcony architect template" but "Balkan architect", autocorrect plays aginst you ;-) You explain everything very clearly, thank you very much, love your tutorials!
Awesome, thank you.
thank you for sharing
U dey try well well cudos to ur efforts 🎉
thanks for your time
A couple things of note. - If you use the Z Offset, it could cause issues in the Analytical when you push it out of Revit. It would probably be a good idea to stay away from that if at all possible. - You can push that Cope to Zero, and it will be cleaner. You just have to change the Detail Level from Fine to Medium. You will, however, loose your Connection Visibility. Those only show up in Fine Detail Level. I did enjoy the Video. Keep up the good work. I refer a lot of our New Guys to your Channel to gain a good base knowledge.

Thank you for the tips! The way Revit handles steel can sometimes be frustrating. Also thank you for recommending my channel!
Thank you Balkan, very useful tutorials. I appreciate your work so much. I like your vibe, man! Do you have a course about sunlight revit enscape? I wanted to model skylights and render how sunlight difuse in the room
i'm 30 years old and still had a chuckle when you said "blue ball" then corrected yourself.
Thank you very much, revit structure looks more appealing than tekla
Thankyou, nice!
GOOD INFORMATION
It was very nice👌

This video is so helpful...make more video on steel structures..
Hallo, im trying to made conection between rafter steel castellated beam HC 600x200 to column steel WF, but eror. What should i do for fix it?
Hi Milos, did you got a video where you explain how to creat custom connections ? I'm working for a company that got custom connections and i need to create them . Hope you will answer to my questions. Thank you very much and have a good day.
Excuse me, I'm using revit 2021and I have an issue about steel connections, when I use the connection and change it for the one that I need it give me an error and I can make de connection
is there a way to make revit show in plan view the horizontal projection of steel elements if we want to?
Can u help me i need to know any tip about changing wetness line type in revit without messing my dimension style line type
would you mind to make a tutorial about truss bridge connection?, thanks i love your video
How can I get the structural family from my revit @Balkan Architech. Thank you
Can we use built up steel in revit or only tapered ?
if the cope distance is zero we cannot fit middle steels in site (practically)
Even tho I have like 6 years exp in Revit, I still find it annoying working with Steel elements... One example that I was struggling today is that some of my diagonal cross bracings are not showing on plan parallel on each side of the beam...but will be on just on one side....hitting that arrow icon sometimes fixes it...sometimes doesn't.
do you also talk about cladding and insulation
شكرا جداااااا
❤❤
We need more in details about cope function
Question: ... I'm looking at learning how to use Revit to help me design a shed, though here in NZ, it seems our portal frames are a little different and from what sheds I have seen, they seem to be built from galvanized C-section frames, some are back to back etc, but none of the connections are welded, they're all bolted together, the same applies also to the apex and haunch brackets, my question is, will Revit have copies of the hardware/frame types they're using here in New Zealand? ... and is there a cheaper version of Revit for small users, like a Revit light? as it does seem to be quite expensive, eeeeekkkk

G'Day mate! I am relatively new to the Revit structure (I have been using Revit Architecture for the past 15 years here in Australia). As such, I have seen yesterday a video tutorial on cupling members that comes with Revit full version only. Those components are located in the 'Steel' tab, but they are not loaded - you need to load them. Milos 'Balkan Architect', has explained that in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3aD2cidh6iyaJM.html In regards to the Revit Lt - it has very limited amount of structural components, but definitely not 'steel' tab which you will need.
Thank you, I think the advance steel stealing butter than Revit about this point
why is so dificult to make houses like gallery reflection of mineral by atelier tekuto i requested for tutorial to another big chanel of revit and he said its dificult this kind of shapes can you try this proyect in revit
