As a combined zord with the rest its very uninteresting. By itself however i love a giant turtle warrior zord

I never understood why they didn't just have Tor be Titanus' thunder zord form

In hindsight I'm glad they didn't; the changes were a bit of a stretch as in but Brachiosaurus-Turtle is too much of a stretch, and keeping Titanus untouched made it more natural for his return in Season 3.

There was a "special size" Tor that was sold in the US at Target, that makes it about the same size as the Red Dragon Battle Mode. This is the one I bought for my collection. At this size, it actually functions as a replacement Assault Team sled, and I really think it should have leaned into that for the show.

The f*cking cracker horn got me!!!!😂😂😂😂

I actually found a Tor being sold at my local secondhand shop and to my great shock, it actually had the horn and all the chrome bits on it.

Great find

I never much cared for Tor the Shuttle Zord, the fact that you CONCEAL your Zords or STACK them on top, it just didn't look as appealing as the Titanus Ultrazord combination. Which felt like it did alot more to intergrate the Zords as a single, cohesive unit.

I like these videos cause I used to collect all these.

The orange the used for the thunderbolts makes them look like the gatorade logo

I had all of these except Tor. I didn't even know Tor (or Titanus) existed until today (I was watching MMPR on PlutoTV). I thought I had seen all of the episodes as a kid. The Red Dragonzord toy could have been designed better. The holes for both yellow lightning horns wore out and got loose, so they would just dangle after a short time and the tail broke pretty fast, too. The Phoenixzord's tail got loose after a short while, too, and would never stay in.

Great review mate! Tor may have not been the best followup to titanus but he must have been fun to play with! Great reviews so far man! Can't wait to see what happens when you go ninja! :)

i know the feeling. trying to complete the set off ebay. when it comes to stuff like that. unless its 100% vital...dont bother unless I can get it cheap. Needed the crown for the mega tigerzord. one with a jewel $20....one without...$5. I figure save the $15 and if it bothers me...get a little red sticker. Only piece i need for mega tigerzord is the firebird. cheapest one does not have the legs or the tail. but since chances are ill get the red dragon after that to complete a thunder megazord. will just use a rubberband to keep the firebird on the arm...and maybe get the tail

I know it’s been 5 years since this video was posted but, maybe you can try getting a 3d printer horn, I may be a lot cheaper, maybe you can find one on thingiverse and send it to a print shop

Did you manage to get a Serpentera yet? as im actually selling both Tor and Serpentera complete and boxed at the moment.? I have all the original Mighty Morphin Zords but my storage is minimal and i just don't have the space for these 2 so sadly they got to go :(

Someone linked me to one on eBay shortly after I posted this video! Snapped it up and ditched the cracker 🤪

I bet if Tommy never lost his Green Ranger powers, Tor would have been his Zord.

Tor only finishing move was to crush the opponent. It's only benefit was to stop serpentera from crushing them.

I just found this toy in the thrift for $1 but it's definitely not complete

This was less in the show then Titanus in the 1st season. I didn't like it what so ever. Luckily with Zeo they got a different type of ultrazord.

Titanus made 16 appearances (of which three were in season 3), Tor made just 6 appearances!

If bandai had done a legacy tor it would have flopped

+Chris Day it'll come! It may be a little while because I've got something more opinion based on the Zord builder megazord line as a whole planned next.

I think you are confused, a tortoise is a land reptile with feet like TOR. > turtle species are partly aquatic.

Fits season 2 well, started off great Thunder megazord was great. Then turned terrible. Tigerzord was ok and the tiger thunderzord was impressive but having this as the ultrazord no, looked stupid. When tipped over looked more like comic relief. Also making Tommy the leader and replacing some of the best cast members just ruined it. Was nowhere near as good and just became all about the White Ranger.

My main gripe about the ultrazord combination is that the Tigerzord is completely hidden from sight, so as was stated in this video, it seems almost like you don't actually need it to complete the whole thing. That being said, and I think that the main reason why it's even present in the combination is because of it's finisher: the Red Dragon Zord spins it's staff around above it's head, and this causes the entire thing to lift off of the ground, it then drops on top of the enemy, flattening them; in this sense, the Tigerzord being inside Tor adds extra weight to the combo for a more devastating attack. I personally didn't mind the warrior mode it had too much: there was never anything that I thought was too offensive, but it was kind of a shame that they didn't use it that much in the show.

tor is one of the ugliest mecha there is, everything about it is so blatent, devoided of creativity and sillyness but at same time its also what makes it stand out in the mix of all that 90s mecha greatness and so for that it makes it prety good
