Your original falconzord is so sun faded that's it looks like it's intentionally light orange and silver. It actually looks really cool, at least to me.

The sun faded Falconzord admitably looks cool as hell, like a special edition you would get in like a Toys R Us. But out of all the MMPR Megazords, this is easily my favourite of the lot

I loved watching the MMPR movie in theaters back in the day !

Admittedly, I never owned this, but watching the show, I always felt that the Red Ape, given that it was a humanoid form (and had a full actor suit for it), should have been more central to the combination just because it should have been about the same size as the Tyrannosaurus and Red Dragon before it. But it’s just an arm which you’d think would mean the Megazord would have to be a lot bigger to compensate but it’s the same as the others apparently. Maybe it was to do with NinjaRed not being leader in KakuRanger? Also nice to see that after taking many batterings as the chest of Dino Megazord and being laughed at as the skirt of Thunder Megazord, Pink Ranger gets to be the all important head here! Damn shouldn’t post before the video has finished, you just said everything I put!!

Wow! After all these years I finally know that the Falconzord fits the Megazord after all. I had the megazord for Christmas back in 1995 but I sadly lost it. Lol

The Ninja Megazord was the most powerful Megazord the Rangers had till it went into the ZEO season.

Can't wait for him to review the Dino Thunder Megazord.

Is it just me, or is it really bizarre that the red ape and shogun zords are roughly the same size as a monster, but the megazords still stay around the same height as well?

Actually, all the shogun zords were about the same size as the monsters, and were all given suit actors, not just the red one. It's just that the red ranger's zord is usually the one the winds up getting an alternate mode or is able to fight when uncombined effectively; this can also be seen with the tyrannosaurus dinozord from season 1 and the red dragon zord from season 2, both of which were pretty powerful on their own and even were used individually to defeat monsters more than once.

If you think about it, and completely unintentional because of the Sentai Footage, Tommy started with a zord that only combined with 3 of the main zords, then he got an upgrade, to the leader of the team, and combined with 4 zords. Then his Falcon combined with all 5 zords. Then when he became Red, he got to be the head of the megazord, and his own auxillery zord

Glad you’re progressing through the series zords. I feel that in a PR toy line the zords kind of form the centerpieces so I like seeing you break it down and give them som attention with a little editing and music rather than just keeping it static in front of a camera and talking at us. For the yellowed, sun damaged plastic have you ever tried a hydrogen peroxide bath? I hear it’s cheap, dead simple and works wonders without risk.

Honestly, at least on camera, the yellowed Falconzord still looks cool, like you could imagine it as something like a Gold Falconzord separate from the white one.

This is my overall favorite zord. I really like the way it looks all put together.

It fits so well in combined mode, and it's on-theme with the individual zords, so it was surprising for me when I first heard that the order of the zord releases was reversed from the sentai, and that the Falconzord itself was an individual God General. Truth be told, I don't like the Shogun MegaFalconzord all that much. Whereas the the NMFZ looks natural, using the wings as wings, the SMFZ just looks like he grabbed a falcon and tucked it under his armpits and ran with it. The cannons stick out a bit too much and don't mesh as well with the rest of the aesthetic. The falcon doesn't match the anthropomorphic theme of the individual zords either. Truth be told it wouldn't surprize me to learn that the Falconzord and the Ninja zords were designed together and then they decided that the falcon also needed to combine with the Shogun Megazord. It just fits better with the Ninja team.

Maybe it's just me, but this is the best season of zords for mmpr in my opinion. It's unique, the zords are very different to what came before, minus the crane that could easily be renamed to a pterodactyl and it'd make no difference. I might have to consider getting these sometime. And I don't mind the crane being pink, it looks better in my opinion then red.

I always thought that it looked like the Falcon Zord should be able to take AAs!!! My mother gave it away years ago, so I haven't thought about it in so long. Great video again!

I'm with you, when I first got it as a kid I was a little put off by it. But now as an adult I really appreciate its design for some reason.

Something I forgot to mention there is a easy technique to restore your falcon zord to its original white color

ironically I kinda like the discolouration on the Falcon zord, it looks like an alternate verison of it.

Same here, its like a What If WIld Force had to use the Ninjazords and Taylor got the Falconzord, but they call it the Super Eagle Zord or something along those lines

I had no idea the ape and wolf fists could fit onto the bear, and I absolutely loved the ninja zords back in the day. I never had any of the previous Megazords.

This will always be my favorite Megazord I have always wanted this Megazord and now that I have it, my childhood is complete

I also gave the falconzord a sun tan. Then, I got another and kept it indoors.

This was the Megazord that I had the most surviving pieces of left from my childhood -- Bear, Frog, and Wolf were all very dusty but otherwise in good shape when I found them at my mom's place a month or so ago! Almost rebuilt it now; ordered an Ape and Falconzord on eBay, and got a 3D printed reproduction of the Crane. Just missing the fist covers and the metallic bit for the bear's mouth (I'll probably not bother with the Ape's tiny swords.)

I think I remember reading somewhere that 'mighty morphin' was removed from UK packaging cos there were concerns that morphin sounded too similar to morphine- and they didn't want kids to get confused.

This is an urban myth. It’s like this because, like he says in the video, we have about ten different languages on UK/EU packaging and Mighty Morphin wasn’t always used.

I wish the people who worked for Bandai during the decade of the 2010s had the Legacy Falconzord combine the same way with the Legacy Megazord so it wouldn't fall off so easily.

Ninja Mega Falconzord combined with Titanus Carried zord to form Ninja Ultrazord 5 times in MMPR season 3.

I never had the Ninja Zord. I did have the Falcon one though and I got the shogun megazord to attach it to.

You should try doing retrobrite on your sun-damaged zords. Check out "The 8-bit-guy" channel for great techniques. That UV damage could be reversible and Reprolabels has new stickers for the falconzord

When the Ninja Megazord was released in the US, my mom bought it for my birthday. I had found it weird, because it had the movie branding on it, but no sword. It confused me. Well, until the new season came out.

I have very faint memories of seeing this in a toy store where I lived but I didn't bought it because I already had the deluxe version (if I remember correctly we got the TV version first here in Germany, but I might be mistaken). For 20 years now I thought it was just a dream (and I didn't care enough to research it myself), but now I know that it wasn't. Thank you. And now I'm sad that I didn't get that version. I also didn't get the re release of the Falcon and Titanus because I was like "oh I already have those".

Worst part for me was the Shogun Megazord arm clips and clips on the Falcon Zord which of course broke as the clips on the red Shogun Zord were load-bearing in regards to the pink and blue Shogun Zords plus the added weight of the Ninja falcon Zord. Ninja Falcon Zord didn't fare much better in this as it's Clips broke too. The male end of the clips definitely could have benefited from being some sort of diecast metal as long as felt they would hold up better against the stresses of pulling the arms off the Shogun Megazord or Falcon Zord.

My Mega Zord was stored for 20 decades in the attic, my bothers Kids love to play with them and it is still in very good condition the sun never had a chance to do any damage, all sticker are completly unharmed, only exception is the falcon zord fake battery screw cover - i removed it back when thought it would take batteries And thank you, i never had any clue that you could put the swords on the back of the ape zord

Have you tried hydrogen peroxide to clean the UV plastic? I think toypolloi used that.

I personally like the gold color on the falcon, so I made your childhood mistake on purpose.

They are sold seperately because even in kakuranger it's a seperate toy and it has no ranger counterpart

This was the first megazord I had as a kid remember og power rangers well. I always thought the thunder megazord was the best just the red dragon alone so well designed this seems basic in comparison

@@powerrangertube follow up! I retrobrighted my Titanus and he came out as white as my SoC one! Here are the steps I followed. My Titanus was yellower than your Falconzord FYI First I completely disassembled all the white pieces. Then I cleaned them in hot water with Dawn. Once dried I placed them in a clear plastic container with the exterior wrapped in aluminum foil. (No not wrap the inside!) Then I poured in hydrogen peroxide 3% liquid concentration(not the paste) and added a teaspoon of oxy clean. I placed it outdoors in direct sunlight for a few hours. Do not keep it in there too long or you risk making the plastic brittle so make sure to check on it every half hour or so!

Black Ranger wet from having the least articulated Zord to the most and then he got downgraded to the least again

... too bad there wasnt a "Special Size" version of the Shogun/Shogun Mega Falzonzord (.. or Dragonzord, Titanus, Megadragonzord,or Dragonzord Battlemode), etc. in America.

"looking slightly different".. naw how about it looked COMPLETELY different in the movie. That CGI was horrid even for the technology back then. I'd take an actual prop any day over CGI garbage

This toy looked too shiny and curvy. Looked cheap when I was a kid

My only memory of this Zord was the movie version and after rewatching that megazord scene that CGI was terrible

Movie one sucks

i must say the movies are always worse because thay always think thay need better suits and the zords with cgi thay look totaly not cannon and stupid on the turbo movie thay made it right orginal suits and zords the ninja zord from the movie is ugly and the dinozord from the new movie and goldar i prefer the series zords and suits over the movies
