I remember when everyone thought the homeless guy was niko bellic, but I never subscribed to that theory because it wouldn't have made any damn sense. Why would niko leave LC to come and live in LS, and then become homeless? He would never leave Roman behind, plus he has more than enough of the means necessary to make enough money to live well.

For example I've been looking for a video where someone dives deeper into the original GTA5 mapping project, because it was really amazing how close they got to the in-game map.

Not really. R* likes working with lower level actors, with mostly side roles in TV shows, like any video game. They're less expensive and it's a good gig for them.

Back then I remember legit a lot of people tought that it's indeed Tommy Vercetti.

Not interested in it, not because of anything against the team or anything, but because I know Take Two will shut it down eventually, and kill the entire mod, just like they did with GTA Underground. Unless they're based in Russia, it's like a ticking time bomb that's impossible to stop.

Purchase able safehouses were present in VC, SA and VCS.

I remember RDR2 theories people thinking John would kill Arthur. Rockstar are one of the only devs who can get people so hyped for a trailer.

It's pretty nuts how quick the fans were able to find who Lucia's voice actress is (if it turns out to be true) after weeks since GTA Vi trailer came out! Imagine if GTA V fans where able to find out that Michael De Santa was voice by Ned Luke a week after the trailer dropped? That'd be insane.

I had a theory after seeing GTA V trailer, and it was simply the fact, that it was going to be a brand new San Andreas, but "cooler" and more edgy. Or at least that was what they were aiming for, since I wasnt that hyped. Needless to say I was never a huge fan of GTA V. I played the game through, but it wasnt Just the same feeling as before.

That's just... stupid. It takes place in an entirely new era, completely spearate from the pre IV one, IV was a reboot of the series but R* clearly didn't make it clear enough.

This is why I clearly stated "brand new". It is in a different universe, albeit having dozens of flashbacks and cameos. But its not like it went smoothly, oh no. People still loved San Andreas, and that was the reason why they did not only a mobile port, but also a remaster, and then a remake to top it off. GTA V albeit being re-released on newer gen consoles, was pretty much the same game, they knew people Will buy. To me it clearly shows what they were aiming for with GTA V. To replicate the success of San Andreas. GTA IV had a much better storyline (saying this as a huge SA fan), and was a Next gen game, with new engine, but it wasnt close to the San Andreas in terms of popularity
