Ehem. Makwa here: I'm sorry! It had been since elementary school since I had played D&D, and I was only getting back into the game with my flatmates. More over, I was in a euphoric state of making a bunch of homebrew content: feats, races, items, etc. This was the first time ever I was using DnD Beyond. I was having fun! It was not until much, much later that I realized the err of my mistake! And the website doesn't let you remove content people have downloaded. Once it was published, I was doomed. To provide a bit of context to why I made it, my friend was running a campaign in which ability scores were allowed to reach above 20, whether it be from Boons, magical items, or (as a house rule he used) feats. So at the time, I was playing a Human Monk, with a 20 Dex. I wanted it to be higher (because as we all know, Monks are clearly sooooo weak), and therefore I made the feat so that it would allow my Dex to succeed the 20 cap. I seek your forgiveness Jacob. Please, I promise I will do better.

My group has the "Sticky Boy" feat. You get advantage on grapple checks, people get disadvantage to escape them (but you do as well). You gain a climb speed equal to your movement speed. You have disadvantage om all charisma checks requiring physical contact, but advantage on all charisma checks when attempting to gross out, wierd out, or generally make someone uncomfortable. It's way more useful than you think.

As SaryM said, you should make this a homebrew slime race, because that would be amazing. I am a bit confused on how this would be explained away as a feat tbh. Like, when you take it does your nose just start running and covering you in snot all the time, making you sticky and gross? That being said though, it does sound really useful. A feat that improves grappling while essentially making you so gross that nobody wants to associate with you yet can't escape no matter how hard they try. Would be a great non-violent way of getting information out of someone, just tie them up in a chair and threaten to hug them if they don't give you the information.

Because Feats are a listed reward for completing certain special Training tasks in Chapter 7 of the Dungeon Master's Guide. Thousand Miles seems like one of those types of rewards. Congratulations, you did a thing, take a thing. Same with Adept Training. They aren't ASIs because these are rewards during the campaign, not to be taken exclusively on level ups. People negatively reviewing these feats for being "Just ASIs with extra steps" just don't know the rules, and that's fine, because they're probably players, but DMs can give out any feats they want as rewards to players.

You can replace your Strength, Dexterity or Constitution scores with any of these numbers if they are higher than your former stats (not counting racials bonuses or ability score improvements). - Your weight becomes the average for your race. On Absolve Sins, as a Jew, I found the "Judeo-Christian Hell" bit even funnier because there _is_ no Judeo-Christian Hell. Hell is exclusively a Christian thing. Judaism doesn't have an official doctrine on the afterlife, but the most common belief is that suffering in the afterlife lasts for a maximum of one year (so closer to the concept of Purgatory than Hell). Most Jews really don't buy into the concept of eternal damnation. Tl;dr just say Christian Hell. Jews don't believe in Hell.

One homebrew feat I gave my friend an idea of was something like “mental focus” or something like that. The prerequisite was that you needed to multiclass with classes (or subclasses) that used any of the mental ability scores that must be different, for example be a wizard monk. The idea is that any features and spell-casting that would normally use their respective mental ability scores are instead substituted for the highest one you have of the respective class. This was a feat designed to encourage players to have more fun with abstract multiclass combos the game would otherwise be unplayable without godlike stats as well as be flavorful. For example, there’s something like a bard monk that was a circus performer; instead of using their instincts with wisdom, they used charisma to dance around the battlefield or a paladin artificer whose insight in the field of inventing intrigued a god of knowledge. The rule was also emphasized that you still had to meet the 13 point requirement for all future classes you may or may not take.

Of feat prerequisites there are only You are a race You have a 13 in a certain ability score You have spell casting You have martial weapon proficiency. You are proficient in medium or heavy armor The first 2, basically won't change outside of the ASI you wasted, but the second two might with multi-classing. And although they change with one level it's often important to not make a 1 level dip before level 5 if you want a third level spell / multi attack at a reasonable level. Although, unless you want a spell casting prerequisite feat or martial weapon proficient feat for both levels 4 AND 8 there's not much point otherwise you could get the one you would get at 8 at 4, and the one with the prerequisite at 8. The feats with spell prerequisites are Spell sniper, war caster, or eldritch adept. Eldritch adept is good but if you don't have spell casting by level 4 do you really want spell sniper or war caster? The only feat that requires martial weapon proficiency is the one that gives you a fighting style. And blind fighting or armored might be nice even if you don't have those proficiencies you can almost certainly get a higher AC with an ASI in dex in those circumstance, but you could just get that feat at level 8 if you get your martial proficiency post ASI since there isn’t any other feat it might share. There is the armor perquisite feats heavily armored, heavy armor master, and medium armor master too, which is worth mentioning here since multi classing into a martial class might give you both medium armor and martial weapons and you want both medium armor master AND an extra fighting style. Good if you're trying to make a wizard with a plus 3 dex into an AC tank and are willing to sacrifice two ASIs to do so. As for feats that require spell casting. Eldritch adept comes to mind, it has a few good options a non caster would want but every other requires casting feat only improves your spell casting in ways that a character who does not have spell casting by level 5 won’t care for unless you are some home brew class that has a use for concentration. Or fey touch shadow touch, which are better on casters for giving spells known, but still useful on non casters can be picked up on non casters anyways so the feat isn't necessary just pick that up now and the prereq at level 8. One character that comes to mind who would want this feat is someone who starts echo knight 1-5 to rush multi attack, then goes ghost Lance, picking a 1 dip in warlock then advancing in either class, and wants to have both war caster and a second requires spell casting feat (probably either meta magic adept or eldritch adept) for their first two asis even though they weren’t a spell caster when they got their first ASI. On the martial side a once was basic caster, probably an abjurer after getting third level spells might multiclass into fighter (probably eldritch knight) and intend to have ludicrous defense with medium armor master AND an extra fighting style, so they can have defensive, and blind fighting and the AC of plate without the stealth disadvantage. Good if you rolled a 3 dex Another good option might be: multi classing out of wizard and into artificer, which gets medium armor proficiency then picking up both heavy armor proficiency and heavily armored to reduce physical damage intake by 3 without breaking from the spell progression of wizard at all! It’s harder to balance the martial side of things since spending two feats on armor is very hard to justify as is needing 2 fighting styles if you are first and for most a caster, since you only get value from blind fighting, since even defensive isn’t as good as other defensive options. But a modified ghost Lance can make effective use of this in a way that smooths a otherwise jagged multi class progression More likely this isn’t isolated homebrew: and it’s a feat in a game where the dm offered a larger selection of feats whose perquisites might be met later. Many people have pointed out this feat would be overpowered in pathfinder because level prerequisite feats get exponentially more powerful at higher levels. This feat may be trash in isolation since it’s so difficult to imagine a build that gets even a tangible benefit from dodging a prerequisite since it's so rare for any build to benefit from TWO DIFFERENT feats that have prerequisites you didn't have by the time you got an ASI, in a game where prerequisites almost exclusively exist because the feat would be worthless if you lack them, but it may not be so difficult in the kind of table where homebrew feats are freely picked from dnd beyond collections, and when prerequisites are something that have to be considered

They may be the case, but that doesn't fit in the templating for similar effects in 5e. While most of the rules clarify the "to a maximum of 20" part for ease of reading, that is implied in any increase to an ability score. The Ability Score books, Epic Boons, or Barbarian 20th level feature all specifically state that it increases both the score and its maximum. I'd still rate it badly for the templating problem.

Same goes for other ASI feats - I bet the DM decided or read somewhere that it would be cool to give ASIs special flavor to make them seem more personal to each character, and they just... put what their players came up with on the website for some reason. The double-feat feat was probably a player who levelled up, went looking for a feat to pick, realized they forgot to pick their last feat, and so the DM said "here, let's say you actually took this special accelerated learning feat that lets you take two now", or maybe they had a build idea that worked except that one feat had a prerequisite they couldn't meet for two more levels, so the DM just said "okay, you can skip one feat to take two later".

There are at least 3 feats on Dndbeyond that add feet to your character. Although one of them has the reasonable requirement that you must be lacking in feet before applying it.
