I stayed there my first week of retirement while I got my bearings (about 3 weeks ago!). I thought it was a very fair deal, and would give it a 9/10. Totally picking nits, but the shower head didn't move, so it was pretty much straight down next to the wall in my room. (206). I couldn't get the ocean view (sold out weeks in advance), and the back view is very unremarkable. I also found the bed a bit too firm for my taste, but that has been the case everywhere i have slept in Thailand so far, so that is definitely a 'me' problem. That portion of Jomtien is great, with plenty to see and do and places to eat and have fun. Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed your time in Jomtien. It's nice down here, isn't it? My condo is about a 5-minute motorbike ride from this hotel. I also like to have breakfast and/or lunch at the Wombat & Kiwi bar, just down the road. Always busy, friendly staff, & very good food.

One of your best reviews ever, and already a high bar. Would have liked a couple of shots of that hotel's menu - looked like a nice restaurant; most interested in the Thai fare (breakfast, lunch and dinner). I found the Jomtien Boat House website, which includes a page for their restaurant, but no menu whatever. When you go back, consider adding a quick look at the menu items if convenient. Definitely looks like our kind of place. Thanks for the fine review.

Hello from Korat. Me and my Wife stayed there two years ago. Being retired Navy, where else could I Stay? We saw the Elvis Presley Impersonator show. Good food as well.

Peter, these hotel reviews are fantastic. Thousands of people do them but your style is best by far. Will definitely visit the Boathouse and Plot 72 next time I'm in the area. Well done.

I love staying there. They clean everyday, it’s close to the night market and if you walk up soi 6 they have a market in the morning .

You are a Hotel-man Peter, you know the score🙂. It looks clean and very price worthy. My Hotel experience from Asia. Either pick an honest 1-2 star hotel or go for a 5 star property. My worst stays has been middle class hotels that pretend to be way better then they are, places that constantly cut corners.

Needs a revamp for sure.

Yes they have these days you will struggle to find anywhere that doesn't have an aircon in the room

It was fine no disturbance at all as the rooms have two layers of glass before you step outside
