Hit on some good ones here. I actually use my Barbell Bomb on my log bar as a way to store it vertically (with bungee cords) on my cement floor. I use their pillows in all my other vertical storage options as well. They make some medicine balls with that same dense foam which are fantastic. I also use their plate spacers on my storage pins for my Leg Ext/Curl and 6 post rack. Great team over there!

I would say kensui is a manufacturer to keep an eye on. Like, their products seem somewhere on a spectrum from awesome to derivative to crap. You could do full episodes making tier lists on their stuff.

I remember back in the mid 90’s or so Larry Scott had a big resurgence. He and Vince where so ahead of their time. Larry had a line of equipment to Girondas original specs. He was extremely particular about the angles and shape of the preacher pad. As well as the angels on the original spyderco curl bench and his prone triceps extension bench. Really great stuff. Great content. Thank you.

Love the Abmat quarter rings- they’re quarter circumference gymnast rings that can be easily looped from a pull up bar for more elbow and shoulder friendly pull ups.

I agree with your thoughts on the Hip Thrust pad. Velcro strap on top that wraps around the barbell would be better. They also have an ab amigo, which I own. I also own the preacher pad, DC block pads, crash pads, hip thruster pad, barbell pillows, and abmat.

I do love their Landmine grip. It's a super simple thing, but makes using a landmine that much more enjoyable. Also, the loadable dumbbell cushions are a game changer if you do seated calf raises.

They also make a padded cover for belt squat belt which makes going heavy or flywheels feel much better. I think it's a great company and they make a lot of equipment that makes lifting less painful. The dumbbell cushions allow them to be stored vertically as well which saves room

We’ve been using their dedicated HSPU mats and really like them. The curve on the side accommodates the plates nicely and you’ve got a flat surface to land your head on rather than a rounded one which always made me (a little) nervous.

Wouldn't you be happier spending thousands on that one piece of equipment? Most people that comment don't seem to understand that muscles don't know or care how much you spend on equipment. They just care that you work them. Yes ,I've been working out for years on my concrete patio in Central Florida year around as the sun comes up with just the simple pieces of equipment and weights and it works.

The hip thrust pad has a sheet of hard plastic on top of the foam stack that spreads out the pressure a lot. I've used it for 465lb hip thrusts without any hip pain. Significantly better than a foam barbell neck pad.

Personally I just use a ezbar for my hip thrust. It sits naturally on my hips thanks to the bends in the bar. As far as the box squat pad. I made one out of combining yoga block. My bench while great and long, is not high enough for my height of 6'5, so I combine yoga blocks to add some height. I bought the blocks from a Marshall/Ross it cost me not even 30 bucks. As for the DC blocks, i bought the 1 inch floor foam, not for my gym floor, i have the stall matts for that. I simply cut them and combine them, 6 inches thick of foam plus some old pillow stuffing between the pieces. My gym is on the second floor of my house. I haven't had any problems.

If you are on a budget or hate how expensive gym bench pads and floor pads are Look at mechanics pads. I needed a pad for a vertical leg press machine, harbor freight had a $20 portable folding mechanics pad that fit perfectly and had a head rest . You’re completely wrong about the essential accessory for loadable dumbbells - being the LDB cushions. Although I love Abmat and own 3 of the products you just reviewed (Abmat, split squat, HTP).. I ALSO own the Loadable dumbbell cushions. You have to wear a certain type of clothes if EVEN for the grip to secure on your legs especially with a heavy load !! They slip and then goes your shoulder from internally or externally rotating with 80+ lbs doing shoulder press !! You can even see the insecurity in your clip. When you were offloading the dumbbells, it seemed like a coddled descent and dangerous above all. KEY POINT: a LOADABLE DUMBBELL ESSENTIAL IS THE - MAD SPOTTER HOOKS. Yes it’s requires a rack or something of that nature + a barbell but WOW. It makes putting on and off weight so easy and so secure. No lift offs needed !! Plus, they do a really good job with the design and the knurled handle feels great on the max spotter hooks. I never use the LDB cushions from Abmat. They are used as stands :)

I’m a big fan of the channel, been with ya since 34k followers or something. But The last several videos I’ve just been feeling like, either the video is about some equipment that most home gym owners don’t intend on ever getting, or it is covering some type of equipment that is very basic and doesn’t need to be explained, kinda like this video. I get showcasing products you find useful, but why review products just cuz they sent them to you even when it’s clear you don’t totally dig the product(s)?. You helped me get started with my garage gym and It’s turned out so sick, at the time you were looking at equipment that was innovative and useful. I have since gone out and found all sorts of lowkey amazing equipment from little known small companies that are innovating and making super unique things. But sadly I don’t see you reviewing those things anymore. You’re doing big things, just hope you stick with the smaller more innovative companies a little more rather than only reviewing equipment from big companies, because lately all these big companies have been dropping absolutely lame and basic equipment. No ones going beyond the rack and simple attachment.
