Thanks for the shout, Coop! Glad you like the Preacher Pad!
Interested to hear your thoughts. I have pretty much everything in my gym currently and some I use daily, some I never touch. Maybe I can "borrow" this idea and do my own take.

Hit on some good ones here. I actually use my Barbell Bomb on my log bar as a way to store it vertically (with bungee cords) on my cement floor. I use their pillows in all my other vertical storage options as well. They make some medicine balls with that same dense foam which are fantastic. I also use their plate spacers on my storage pins for my Leg Ext/Curl and 6 post rack. Great team over there!
I would say kensui is a manufacturer to keep an eye on. Like, their products seem somewhere on a spectrum from awesome to derivative to crap. You could do full episodes making tier lists on their stuff.

I think he’s talked about the vest and handles.
This review was fun and probably one of the best you've done in a while. Thanks
i like their barbell pillows for vertical bar storage. like their abmat, squat pad, and preacher curl pad too!
I remember back in the mid 90’s or so Larry Scott had a big resurgence. He and Vince where so ahead of their time. Larry had a line of equipment to Girondas original specs. He was extremely particular about the angles and shape of the preacher pad. As well as the angels on the original spyderco curl bench and his prone triceps extension bench. Really great stuff. Great content. Thank you.
Love the Abmat quarter rings- they’re quarter circumference gymnast rings that can be easily looped from a pull up bar for more elbow and shoulder friendly pull ups.
@andycane007

I wish they made the strap a bit longer as they are a hassle to take off as the ring makes it difficult to thread it out of the loop

I love those too. Wish they made fat 1/4 rings
I agree with your thoughts on the Hip Thrust pad. Velcro strap on top that wraps around the barbell would be better. They also have an ab amigo, which I own. I also own the preacher pad, DC block pads, crash pads, hip thruster pad, barbell pillows, and abmat.
I do love their Landmine grip. It's a super simple thing, but makes using a landmine that much more enjoyable. Also, the loadable dumbbell cushions are a game changer if you do seated calf raises.
They also make a padded cover for belt squat belt which makes going heavy or flywheels feel much better. I think it's a great company and they make a lot of equipment that makes lifting less painful. The dumbbell cushions allow them to be stored vertically as well which saves room
Would love to see a review of Abmats pulling blocks! More Stray Dog or Legend fitness reviews would be great too. Thanks for the great content!
Love the ARES in the backround. Saving up for mine.
"100s of lbs potentially for me, for Sam 20 lbs or so" 🤣🤣🤣
Love AbMat, thanks for the reviews Coop!
those cushions are a LIFESAVER. love them. give them some love so they keep making them
We’ve been using their dedicated HSPU mats and really like them. The curve on the side accommodates the plates nicely and you’ve got a flat surface to land your head on rather than a rounded one which always made me (a little) nervous.
For that split squat pad, I would put a band on the barbell to the rack on the opposite side to help hold the barbell in place along with the weight on the opposite side of the SSP.
You needed to publish this a week ago! I ordered an about preacher pad just the other day.
Loadable Dumbbell Cushions- Goblet Squats & variation to kettlebell swings also heavy 1 arm shoulder press, I bet you could use it for floor skull crushers as a back stop to change directions going from eccentric to concentric, Also can be used on the end of a barbell as a Landmine cushion
Preacher Pad is the best! Had it since it came out, maybe a full year, little sag in the middle but still performs great!
They're a solid company. I use their barbell storage pillows, the dumbbell cushions, and the preacher pad is my favorite! Sorry I can't help you with the affiliate links but in the future I'll refer to this video if I need to

oh no, RIP GGR...
They should consider making an adjustable bench bridge for the seat gap. Unless its already been done
Id love to see your take on the Isolator from Bulletproof fitness. The dude is making some crazy awesome stuff over there.
Lock the bar in with a band over the bar and J-cup with weight hanging off the band. That’s the way I load the earthquake bar…secures and doesn’t flip off rack.
Just got my preacher pad looking forward to giving it hell
Archon fitness!! They have a Smith machine built into a cage that's probably the most versatile/compact piece for someone looking for a Smith machine
found a preacher curl bench at a second hand shop. Got it for $15 and its size is perfect for my small garage and it doubles as the perfect space to do back extensions so it fits the home gym multi use requirement for me!

Wouldn't you be happier spending thousands on that one piece of equipment? Most people that comment don't seem to understand that muscles don't know or care how much you spend on equipment. They just care that you work them. Yes ,I've been working out for years on my concrete patio in Central Florida year around as the sun comes up with just the simple pieces of equipment and weights and it works.
Just ordered the abmat using your link. I've been looking for something like this, but I'm skeptical of all the junk I've seen on Amazon. I'm excited to try it out!
I have their Atlas stone return pad. It's a little pricey for what it is, but I stilloveit. I workout by myself in my garage, so having a pad that rolls the stone back to me is nice.
Thanks for the review. I think I’ll try the hip thruster. Wish they would’ve send you the landmine grip for the end of a barbell. I also love that they collaborate with so many other influencers. What is the Abmat x GGR product coming out????
I’d like to see a review on the bullet proof isolator.
My favorite Abmat product is my Custom RooBox sweet plyobox that has my logo and matches my game color scheme
Coop, nice light setup you got back there
could you review abmat's pulling blocks that they made with squat university, and compare it to more traditional blocks in terms of bar rebound after dropping, noise, sturdiness (e.g., dc blocks always have layers that come off after dropping a clean), and durability?
Aw man, they didn't send along their 1/4 rings! I use them all the time, mostly on my pull days but could easily be used for push. I think they're great. Maybe you could do a group review of several of the handle-style attachments across lots of companies and feature them there?
Tie down strap on the other end of the barbel around the J cup would work when using the split squat thing, if you have one laying around.
The hip thrust pad has a sheet of hard plastic on top of the foam stack that spreads out the pressure a lot. I've used it for 465lb hip thrusts without any hip pain. Significantly better than a foam barbell neck pad.
The Bulgarian split squat pad makes a lot of sense if you have a squat stand or a rack that doesn’t have the attachment
Personally I just use a ezbar for my hip thrust. It sits naturally on my hips thanks to the bends in the bar. As far as the box squat pad. I made one out of combining yoga block. My bench while great and long, is not high enough for my height of 6'5, so I combine yoga blocks to add some height. I bought the blocks from a Marshall/Ross it cost me not even 30 bucks. As for the DC blocks, i bought the 1 inch floor foam, not for my gym floor, i have the stall matts for that. I simply cut them and combine them, 6 inches thick of foam plus some old pillow stuffing between the pieces. My gym is on the second floor of my house. I haven't had any problems.
Hey man, weird question, but what brand of pants do you have on in this video? They look really nice and comfortable.
Would love to see a future video with the home gym that is built for the rest of your life. You constantly say that certain equipment will last forever but it's tough when we see all this cool new equipment and technologies to not want to constantly upgrade. What would you use if you built a gym now and don't plan to add to or replace for another 20+ years?
@HoerigStrength

All the basics with few or no moving parts will last for decades (especially those made from steel). Rack, plates, barbells, dumbbells, KBs, etc.
Awesome vid! Just curious. What lavalier mic you using to record your voice. Always sounds good!
I feel they’re all great ideas except for the split squat attachment. It just does not seem that secure. I gladly paid for the Rogue one with the hand tightening knob.
If you are on a budget or hate how expensive gym bench pads and floor pads are Look at mechanics pads. I needed a pad for a vertical leg press machine, harbor freight had a $20 portable folding mechanics pad that fit perfectly and had a head rest . I liked it so much I bought more to take to commercial gym and in car to change tires oil etc.
I just used an exercise mat for hip thrusts and it was very comfortable 😊
Coop, I was excited to see you lift an Atlas stone! You skipped Alan Thrall's "Atlas Stone Return Ramp."
I got the hip thrust pad because I can also use it as a knee pad. I have liked it so far and will need to pick up an abmat at some point.
Any chance of a review on their pivot pad for hip thrusts, please?
2:53 truer words have never been said. Every home gym owner with loadable dumbbells is crying in relatability right now
Have you tried their Zercher squat pad? I'm interested in it, but it's a bit pricey. Would you please review it?
It would be cool if you would be able to review stuff from Black Widow Training Gear. A small operation with very cool pieces.
I have made two different DIY pieces of equipment out of PVC pipe: Parallettes and Dip Station (copied from Matt Wichlinski from The Stength Shop). It would be a cool video to see you review a bunch of good DIY equipment - you could do a whole episode just on PVC and plumbing pipe.

You should do a review on the BC Hip Thruster
Please review the stray dog strength racks with cable attachments that compete with the Ares
Is the hip thrust pad a worthy upgrade over the Iron Bull advanced pad?
You forgot the Chest Up Pad!!! I’m a dude and love it.
Where'd you get those backlights behind the squat rack?
I use one of their wise crack AbMats (from Rogue) and I love it. $15 extra bucks (as of writing) to never have another friction rash on my butt is totally worthwhile.
A squat pad can serve as a hip thrust and a split squat pad (same location as hip thrust). Good quality with multipurpose. Whats are your option on that compared to these products?
Link to those hexagon LED's please. They look dope!
I really want the split squat pad but i don't have a weight rack. However, i do own the repfitness plate tree 🤞. Wish me luck lol
Hey, where was the Donnie Thompson Body Tempering pad?
3:31, ended up switching to single arm, to avoid having to dig into my knee with both.
I love the barbell bomb!! I've used the tennis ball trick at the end of my barbell and it worked okay, but it's nothing compared to the bomb!
$80 block of foam. Seems like the same racket that foam mattress companies are running. They would have you believe PU foam is the most expensive thing in the world. (Of course labor is a major cost for mattresses)

People on this channel make me laugh at the stu(pid) garbage that they would spend their money on.
Could you check out the Bantong&Li brand i am thinking of buying one of their minimalist racks but i am not sure if its durable and can withstand i am reaching to you because i know you can give it a good test ("amazon bench😅") if you can't do it can you plz give us some suggestion for minimalist racks that are not too expensive. thank you if you read this.
Some niche reviewswould be cool. Mike bartos pr platform or stone of steel
Can review Crandall Fitness 's new omni rotational jammer arms? Or just their products in general?
You’re completely wrong about the essential accessory for loadable dumbbells - being the LDB cushions. Although I love Abmat and own 3 of the products you just reviewed (Abmat, split squat, HTP).. I ALSO own the Loadable dumbbell cushions. You have to wear a certain type of clothes if EVEN for the grip to secure on your legs especially with a heavy load !! They slip and then goes your shoulder from internally or externally rotating with 80+ lbs doing shoulder press !! You can even see the insecurity in your clip. When you were offloading the dumbbells, it seemed like a coddled descent and dangerous above all. KEY POINT: a LOADABLE DUMBBELL ESSENTIAL IS THE - MAD SPOTTER HOOKS. Yes it’s requires a rack or something of that nature + a barbell but WOW. It makes putting on and off weight so easy and so secure. No lift offs needed !! Plus, they do a really good job with the design and the knurled handle feels great on the max spotter hooks. I never use the LDB cushions from Abmat. They are used as stands :)
The barbell bomb looks great. Just wonder how much protection it will provide to wall or floor.
Coop, what is the orange strap on your left wrist??
Can anybody recommend a diy solution for the dumbbell cushion. They only ship inside the US
I never knew that a mustached Jesse Pinkman does honest gym equipment reviews... Cool...I subscribed.
I'll take the Squat ZeroSquish Cushion and LandMine Grenade. Thanks
I noticed you don’t have the sick ass Frankenstein Donnie Thompson pad in there. 😎
You should visit Matt Wenning’s gym and interview him. Dude is insanely smart.

What light is on your wall?
Question being at present and remaining, why are Girls loaded hip thrusting in one direction, what about the Intake or reverse direction or exhaustion direction. A little confusing in today's world. wdt
There's a new product : the zercher ab mat. Please can you do a review of it ?
The chest up pad?
What's your issue with using squat pads for hip thrusts? Pretty much all the IG fit girls use them, they are super cheap (way cheaper than AbMat's solution), and they address the issues you brought up with the hip thruster pad.
I love their barbell pillows
do your preacher curl on an incline bench
Can you review Weight it out steel plates
Coop, what kind of pants are you wearing in this video??
Man, i wanted the loadable db cushions to be better, they are unstable as hell on the knee over 100/hand
Not happy with their barbell bomb. They really made it sound like it would not slide on a stall mat but it easily slides around. Still have to put it up against a wall. I also agree with the hip thrust pad. It really does easily roll the bar back and forth. You really have to balance it just right. I feel like that one really needs some improvements. I went back to using a shoulder pad.
i want the loadable dumbbell end cap just to store my barbells in the corner.
Review the Ironmaster IM2000 PLEASE!
freak athlete essentials is a really good small company!
Get some tennis balls for the loadable dumbbell
I need to make my own shiii and it be called The Shiiii and yes I got a couple ABMAT things like the split pad , but the preacher one is a big waste of money
I really like this set. It’s a little bulky at times, but it’s just a matter of getting used to itMe and my girlfriend love it
They also make excellent solutions for dropping weights like logs and stones

@@forhisglory1984 no problem sorry not one that’s I know of. Since we are talking spin locks I had been searching to see if anyone made Olympic sized ones. Looks like intek does and they were over $200 for one handle. Yikes!
Is the bomb cheaper than tennis ball? Probably not lol
I’m a big fan of the channel, been with ya since 34k followers or something. But The last several videos I’ve just been feeling like, either the video is about some equipment that most home gym owners don’t intend on ever getting, or it is covering some type of equipment that is very basic and doesn’t need to be explained, kinda like this video. I get showcasing products you find useful, but why review products just cuz they sent them to you even when it’s clear you don’t totally dig the product(s)?. You helped me get started with my garage gym and It’s turned out so sick, at the time you were looking at equipment that was innovative and useful. I have since gone out and found all sorts of lowkey amazing equipment from little known small companies that are innovating and making super unique things. But sadly I don’t see you reviewing those things anymore. You’re doing big things, just hope you stick with the smaller more innovative companies a little more rather than only reviewing equipment from big companies, because lately all these big companies have been dropping absolutely lame and basic equipment. No ones going beyond the rack and simple attachment.
