Reviewing Asian Food In Germany With My Mom

Trying Asian Food In Germany Together With My Mom!
The video about my home & my village ➡ • Spending Time With Mom...
How is Asian Food in Germany? Is it authentic? Does it taste good? I found three Asian restaurants near my home in northern Germany and decided to give it a go! I am also bringing my mom with me to review the Asian food in Germany. I found several dishes from different Asian countries, for example Malaysia or Thailand.

I am Ken Abroad, a full-time traveler traveling southeast Asia, currently in Malaysia, making Malaysia travel vlogs. It is my goal here on this channel to visit every country in southeast Asia and bring you along the journey.
You won’t see much tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the “real” sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.
There will be almost daily uploads on this channel, during the next months from Southeast Asia. I will be traveling Southeast Asia, showing you around local places and try lots of different local food. Join the journey if you are interested in experiencing Malaysia now from a more authentic local point of view.

Germany that see is clean is because the Germans have adopted cleanliness, without sparing the rod. If you litter in Germany or any European nation, you will be fined heftily. Learn to be clean and make your neighborhood clean.

Thank you for including your mum in your German videos. I can see that she is a lovely person and she has brought you up to be one as well. Personally I feel that by introducing us to your family (and girlfriend as well) you have made me feel more invested in your life and hence your videos. Sometimes it is nice to know who you are, where and how you grew up rather than just watching your day to day videos. It also provides more context to your future videos. As for the Asian food, kudos to your mum for trying them with you. Sadly, this is not a true representation of authentic Asian food. The fried rice is probably done with turmeric hence why it is yellow. I guess since most people there have not tasted the authentic Asian dishes, the restaurants can get away by making up the dishes with just whatever skills they have and the ingredients that can source. When a "Japanese" restaurant starts selling Thai food, alarm bells should start ringing.

Your hometown is so beautiful, I want to move there; If a Chinese restaurant does not only sell Chinese food, it means it is not authentic; Fried spring rolls are similar, but not that kind of sauce, which is very interesting; For me, no matter whether it is the same or not, the most important thing is that Mommy ate happily!👍😄👌 P.S. I'm sorry to tell you the truth, that dessert is called mochi, and it's from Taiwan, because its packaging shows "Taiwan mochi"!

I love these small European towns. They're so beautiful. I feel like running through the green fields. In your opinion, Ken, are places like your hometown open or welcoming to tourists from other regions/religions? I know of some places that do not like it or will stare and act unwelcoming. BTW your mum is lovely. You should invite your family to join you for a week in Malaysia.

Enjoyed the video Ken. In my view, UK Asian restaurants offer the closest to authentic Asian dishes, but it's normal that in most cases, they will adjust the spiciness according to local availability of spices/herbs and to cater to local palate. Btw, yr mum's English accent is not the typical German English accent, more towards UK or Scandinavian English accent 😅

I liketi see the well maintain greens around the village town. On asian food from your village asian restaurant, agreed that their food taste is much different from what you can find in Malaysia. Malaysian used a lot of seasoning and sugar to enhance the flavor. 😁. Have a great moment with your mum and sister. 🇲🇾🇲🇾

Awesome that Asian food and drinks are available in your hometown. Good review from your mom about the food. She could detect the fishy taste when she tried that Thai dish....👍 Love the way she expressed herself, very confident and calm. Well done, Mdm Kyla @Ken's mom. Well, Ken, your mom's right... those dishes were cooked to suit Germans' palate. Yeah, as you have been in SEAsia and Asia for so long, you would definitely know whether they were authentic/original. Looks like you are going to be an Asian pretty soon... 😂😀😂 Anyway, amazing review and a fun video to enjoy. Thanks, Kenny 😊
