In today's video we will review the ECOLOGY OF HUMAN PERFORMANCE MODEL (EHP) and show a helpful visual overview with helpful tips and tricks for understanding the model. The term ecology in this model in the title of this model demonstrates the strong contextual focus of this model. This model give great insight into human performance, the human experience, occupation, and particularly occupational performance range. This video also dives into explaining the intervention strategies that the EHP model offers including establish/restore, alter, modify/adapt, prevent, and create. In this video series we are reviewing all the major OT models including the Person-Environment-Occupation Model (PEO), the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement (CMOP-E), the Ecology of Human Performance Model (EHP), the Occupational Adaptation Model (OA), the KAWA Model, and the Model of Human Occupation (MoHO).
