Спорт

Video review and test of the new Chaya Kismet BARBIEPATIN gold skate. A roller skate for park skating.
Not only I show you the skates in detail and explain every details, I've done an extensive test during the past 2 months and a half to really see what this skate is capable of!

Best skate ever! Super light! More feel for the ground than with a heeled skate imo.

Hi Do the Xtndr axles are compatible with the original trucks on those skates or do I have to buy Xtndr axles AND trucks to get wider trucks ? I’m confused as I never touched a setup before 😅

Thank you! to be honest I like both! the Jump 2 has become my favorite Chaya skate but switching to the Kismet didn't feel like a big change, even if the cut is lower it provides good heel lock. The positive point of the Kismet is that it already includes the slider. I can recommend both :)

@@Wtfjrldm did you end up getting the Jump 2.0? I'm very close to buying them. What appeals to me about the Jump 2.0 is the street wheels. I don't think I'll be going anywhere near a skate park and already regretted buying park skates (Roces 5th Elements) 20 year ago.

Great video 😁. I got the Jump 2.0 in EU46 (biggest size they do) but they are too tight on the toe box, especially on the right foot ☹️. My longest foot is 293mm so should fit the length but the toe box is too narrow. Do you think the toe box will give at all in the Jumps? I would love to get Karmas but again 46 is the biggest size & I gather they are small. I see this Kismet skate available in 46 & 47 - am tempted to get these in a 47, but the Goldmember styling isn’t really my thing! Do you know if Chaya are planning to produce the Jump or Karma in bigger sizes? 🙏

Hi Stuart. I don't think they will offer bigger sizes this year but the Karma fits one full size smaller than it is so I don't think the 46 will work for you. The jump 2 are soft skates and they break in a bit after a while, but if the problem is the length, then I am afraid it is better to go for a different model. If the issue is the width or height of the toebox I recommend you to either use a thinner insole, try different lacing techniques that allow for more room in the toes and let them sit overnight with something inside like a tennis ball or such to stretch the upper a bit and gain some mm for more comfort. But I can't tell 100% if it will solve it as every food is different and depending on how you feel it better to return them before skating them. I hope you can find a skate that fits you soon! Cheers

@@RAGNAROLL Thanks for the prompt reply, mate! I have Pearls in 46 with Shiva 45° plates on - I managed to get the toes of the boots punched out a little by a ski boot fitter! They now fit almost perfectly (still a little tight in the width in the forefoot). The Jumps aren’t heat mouldable though so I don’t want to risk it in case they get damaged. I haven’t skated them yet so can return to SkatePro if I choose. Do you think the 47 gold kismets would be a better fit?

@@inkh0rn the fit of the Kismet and the Jump 2 is the same (in my size at least), so yes if the kismet are available in 47 these should fit you. Strange the Jump is not available up to 47 when they share the same sole :S I hope you can sort it out man!

Same thing happens to me. I’ll get the US 12 and it’s tight as hell. I ended up purchasing the Rip Jaws from Bont and that allowed me to make more room in the toe box. And it’s like that on all of their park skates. I have the new white Ragnaroll on pre order and I’m sure it’ll be the same situation. So disappointing.

Do you like the Karma Pro or the Gold Kismet better? I have the 2nd edition Kismet in Pink and I’m ObSeSsEd!!!!!! Don’t want to keep changing the wheels to a park/harder wheel than the 2nd edition Octo Paseo wheels (92a that really feel like 88a) cuz I am also obsessed with the paseos since I mostly street skate everywhere and to the parks … so getting a whole other new skate I have to carry seems more reasonable than just switching wheels always 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂 Maybe I just want all the Chaya skates cuz want the Melrose premiums and the Jump 2 as well 😂♥️ But def don’t need 3 versions of the skate parks that are all similar (or maybe I do 😂) so asking I guess what is your favorite between the Karma Pro or Gold Kismet? OR would you just get the Jump 2s and add the slide/grind block?
