You make good points for getting a harrier. I feel like this is a blaster you would choose over the harrier because if you like to tinker and highly customize / be involved with 3 D printing. 3d Printing the TC4 on your own and buying the hardware is cheaper than buying worker harrier.

Yep. The Talon Claw platform and most of Slug's blasters are extremely customizable if you have a printer, to the point they aren't really ideal to buy without one.

This blaster looks like a dystopia prop, I really like the aesthetic

This blaster reminds me of this one blaster called the Talon Claw 3

The singular best hobby springer. Nothing beats it (except maybe the Lynx). Edit: if you're having issues with screws, use blue threadlocker. Keeps it nice and tight, but can still be removed with a hand screwdriver.

@@TheSwedishChef06 as someone who owns the TCv4, and the SBL. it's impossible to say one is better than the other. Their nearly identical. And the SBL is based off the older 3 rod Talon Claw, not the flatbar. IF the SBL v2 is flat bar then i could see your argument.

Y'know, I know that dry-firing a high power blaster is a bad idea, but I've never actually learned why that is (besides whacking your hand with the priming handle slamming forward). Why is it?

When there is no dart in the chamber the plunger head slams harder into the front of the plunger tube. The dart in the chamber adds pressure which slows down the plunger head a bit and 'cushions' the impact. This is why is sounds so different when you dry fire a springer. It's no biggie to dry fire occasionally, but repeated dry firing may break your plunger head or plunger tube in high powered springers. This doesn't apply to stock Nerf guns - the air restrictor (AR) adds the necessary pressure even when a dart isn't chambered.

Can you do an updated video on the blasters you recommend for different categories?

You should have someone make a n strike barrel lug for your 3d printed blasters. Doesn’t need to be functional but for tactics. Some of your 3d printed blasters look like they could have something extra up front. Just a thought from an occurring viewer. Have a good one! -@Zigmog

Ughhhh so much cool stuff coming out that I want but I have to put money into my project car. Question though, with these printed blasters, do the actions "wear in" and smooth out like an actual firearm, as the pieces wear together? It might be notchy at first, but does it get smoother with time?

I'm calling shenanigans. The Talon Claw/Caliburn have 34.925mm plunger tube ID. And the SBL uses a 37.5mm plunger tube ID. There is no physical way for the SBL plunger to fit in the Talon Claw tube. . . .

Glad to see more community blasters being reviewed! The stiff forward prime is due to an improperly installed grommet which acts as a dry fire safe feature. The T4 and C4 ARE dry fire safe. I’ve dryfired a 500fps C4 hundreds of times with no breakages. A default K25 T4 should shoot much higher than 200. Easily 250+. Most T4s are cheaper than a Harrier btw and should get better performance. Screws on metal connections should be assemble with thread lock to prevent that loosening. The inconsistent shot to shot is due to bad barrel or bad internal seal. Most should not deviate or get dud shots like that.

That's completely irrelevant, the Caliburn can shoot long darts just as hard as this shots short darts.

I was thinking about buying a 3d printer but can you recycle the parts/material? If not, than are you not just adding the pollution issues? Neat buy most ppl print trash and the other stuff will eventually be trash, and plastics are already an issue. I am new to printing, this is a concern.

Yes it's recyclable. You could even melt it down and make it into more filament to use in your printer with a special jig.

At this point any comparison to stock class Nerf guns is pretty much irrelevant. When you have these things more than doubling the standard FPS par on a daily basis, it seems like it's time to figure out a new par for these more souped up models. Ain't nothing wrong w/ having different standards for clearly different classes of nerf gun.

Not with the K25 spring, maybe with a 788 or k31, but you're not going to hit 200FPS.
