I mean, Nerf has been doing under barrel and side attachment blasters for years. The Titan rocket launcher had a shotgun that fired 6 darts at once on the bottom, and a muzzle load, single shot pistol on the side. Longshot had a barrel extension with under barrel blaster, Demolisher had a rocket.
Back in my day masterkeys were a Stryfe and Roughcut. Amazing how far the hobby has come.
Thanks for the review! Tarik did a lot of work to get this design out, and we're delighted with the reception thus far. A couple of notes to clarify: • The lack of pusher motor braking was a compromise because of the international circuit board and component shortage, and we would rather have had a board to prevent the kind of jams you experienced. There is a way to have pusher motor braking without a board, but it would have prevented the ability to use an external trigger. In our testing, we've found jams to be pretty rare, but it's not something we can completely eliminate with this iteration. • RE a Picatinny trigger mount option: We'll certainly consider offering something like that in the future. However, for the first time, we are offering some accessory files for people to print themselves. Both the external trigger and the Picatinny receiver are available to print and could be modified to make something like what you're looking for. Once again, thanks for your thorough review! We're excited to see what you do with them next.

Nice review! Note that when a high-power flywheel blaster jams up, you shouldn't try to rev more. That could overload your LiPo or the motors due to the motors being in constant stall.

Wait. Time to be Tacticool. Use the Sidecars and stack them on each other for an "infinite" sidecar magdump. Don't have to reload if you have enough sidecars ;))

Except it makes sense here, unlike the ZIP22
If you put another mounting point on it you can have 3 blasters in one so you can have a herja attached to a blaster and have a mounting point on the other side and put another blaster on and so on.
Your excitement for new innovative products is incredibly tangible. I've moved on from nerf for years but your content is still super entertaining to watch. Keep up the amazing content!
Loving these reviews. I love the emotional response and emphasis on fun and excitement, which was the ground work for Nerf and blasters in general. Happy you’re reviewing what you want man!
That's a fantastic idea and a fantastic build! I'm sure the burst fire snag is solvable. Great stuff and great review!
When it comes to blaster-mounted blasters, it's hard to beat the OOD Proud Papa in my opinion. Very much a backup blaster, but it's faster to deploy than the jolt in my pocket, and hits pretty hard. A springer that can't jam and can be setup with different barrels (three-shot short dart, shotgun, rival, etc.) is the ideal backup for when my primary goes down
@kingofgames234
Жыл бұрын
I agree. I have a crooked cousin from the liitle rocket line and it was great for hvz. but at endwar i found myself actually using a springer as a primary and only taking advantage of my MK3 when I was in a bind. So something like this would be right up my alley if it weren't for having to commit to a full mag dump every time.
Very cool to see Out of Darts innovating like there's no tomorrow with these sick as hell blasters, meanwhile I'll sulk and not be able to afford a single one of them
I view that thing and the quirk about burst firing as indication of intended use case: "OH CRAP. *hose enemies* " is the way. You are tap tap with your primary and then panic spray a bunch of ammo in a pinch up close. I like it.
We went from rapidstrike and rough cut fusions to just an attachment. Very cool!
I’ve been watching this guy since the beginning and he’s still amazing 🤩
I think it would cool to have a button toggle instead of a trigger, so it always mag-dumps instead if having the risk of jamming it. You could have two of them as a special mini masterkey.
A compact handle/trigger that could accept one of these on either side would make a fun little double-pistol. Fun little blaster.
Getting closer and closer to my dream half-dart stormbolter.
Awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 love it and I can't wait to see you at the blaster battle
I think it would be cool to have a version that can use external power. That way you can have it hooked up to your main battery and it reduces weight hanging off the rails.
Excellent review COOP!
Okay Coop, you know what you have to do now? You gotta make a Herja version of the multi-Khaos build. I wanna see like 6 of these all attached to each other, just blazing foam walls.
Damn! Seems like a super well made and well thought out product, cool af
I could see having a dual picatinny connector and run that in front of a vertical foregrip with the wired trigger either attached to it or nearby with the Harja connected to an under rail using its top rail. Keeping it from getting in the way of corner peeks and still having access to it.
I can see a few uses for the Herja: Emergency "hose the horde with darts" blaster for HvZ. Stand-alone, full auto shenanigans, using the magazine as a handle, and the plug-in trigger held in the firing hand, somehow. Or as a silly brrrrrrrt'er for plinking.
Its like having a PEQ box that shoots, it's incredible
Those are way awesome dude! Totally would mount one on each side of the harrier. Lol
the tri barrel crossbow that's also a pickaxe works great!
Ied definitely put one on each wrist with that extended button thing that’s awesome
I'm loving the attention rail mounts are getting - We had the Proud/Big Papa, the MisterKey, and now this all in the span of maybe a year or so?
Something like a Unity Hot Button for the remote trigger seems like it would work really well
I definetly think they missed out on an additional mag holder attachment. You could have the attachment point rail on one side and the additional mag holder on the other for quicker reloads. Yes, it would make the blaster more bulky and it would hurt it's balance, but it would simply be an option.
It's insane that Hasbro aren't considering attachments like this, even release a premium/pro version of Nerf.

Coop, I think you know what needs to be done how many of these can fit onto one blaster?
@JimothyBonquavious
Жыл бұрын
How many can you link together! Like the quad hyperfire or something
Seeing flywheels be made so compact makes me wish Nerf or some other brand could make a super compact SMG.
It’s like a weird micro uzi, I love it.
Imagine just . . . A wall of these. Like five on each side, all wired to one trigger. The *roar* of it alone would be insane. 🤣🤣🤣
What a time to be alive 💪😏
This would be amazing for a sniper build, I am taking notes
This is beautiful. But think I would retro fit some sort of rev-trigger, unless I was using a bunch of 12round mags.
It's also a very good base for any cosplayish inspired design-mod. Buy it and add some shell to make your own replica game blaster, which can fling foam:)
*Well that just sounds like a master key with extra steps.*
This thing looks sick
Gonna put it on the side rail of my Elite 2.0 Stormcharger and use it as the primary, the strife reskin as my secondary
I wanna see a bunch of these mounted together like the quad hyperfire or x9 khaos that you made a while ago. Or try to fit as many onto one blaster as you can. A blaster with 2 herjas on each side would be HILARIOUS, also ridiculously overpowered for HVZ.
@kingofgames234

Honestly same... and also throw some crooked cousin/ proud pap variants in there for good measure
@itsagundam79
Жыл бұрын
You could do a 420 dart challenge by hooking up dozens of these blasters in a row and firing them all at once!
Great idea. No need to carry a secondary with one of these mounted.
Put the extended cable trigger in front of the magazine so you could fire it standalone by holding the mag and pulling trigger with pointing finger.
You could probably rig it to be wrist mounted and since it's so small it could actually be effective or even just use the mag as the grip
I’d personally put one on each side, both for symmetry and so you can have more shots prior to a reload.
put a front grip on the pic rail with the trigger extender taped to it and use it as a stand alone PDW blaster

Coop dude!!! Gel Blasters??? I am still waiting on that.... xP
i managed to watch your video on the whoozi and reloaded to the main menu to see you upload a minute ago
Buy two and put one on each side of the blaster! Even if it's not the most effective rig to run, it would look intimidating to a noob and be seriously fun!
if you put one on both sides of a rapidstrike or something you could shoot them both at the same time and then use the rapidstrike to keep flinging foam
A nice little emergency counter
Please make a blaster with multiple of these attached to it, that would be so awesome
That is pretty cool. How far in the hobby we have come with this blaster

Preach! 🙌
Hey coop try the huntsman ambush rifle is small but it feels good
Could make it like a tiny nerf version of the OG-43 or the other SMG where the magazine was the grip!
Pic rails are just OP
this feels like the jolt equivilant for flywheel blasters
Those would be really good for a nerf portal turret.
I can just see it now, somebody will try and find like a gauntlet mount for that thing and suddenly they'll become deadshot with his arm guns. Or super battle droids from Star wars depending on what ammo they put in.
im putting this on my asg for close quarters
Could you possibly get a reliable chrono reading by revving it up with the magazine out and then jamming a mag loaded with a single dart as it's cycling? Or would this risk damage to whatever feeding mechanism there is?
Question, you said that you could remove the pick rail from the top and put it on the side. does that mean that you could remove the attachment point and put it on top and use it as an under barrel?
I want to see someone mount multiple of these on the same blaster
Basically a woozie with a mounting point.
I NEED ONE!
Happy Coop for President! Lol
I could see this having a top rail adapter to give it a stock and foregrip
It's crazy how much nerf has evolved
It would be fun to mount one or two on a Wooze for added firepower.
Putting this on my AR.
the zip-22 of nerf but it works
I wonder if you could put 2 Herjas on a blaster one on each side and link the triggers to effectively make a Shotgun
I was watching another one of ur vids and saw this pop up
Create a wrist mount and a shoulder mount so we can get the cyber-strike gear we always wanted.
If it was a sort of foregrip\ blaster, you could prime the Harrier while shooting.
Now, buy as much as you can, attach those side car blasters onto each other with those rails and do the 430 dart challenge with it
They finally made a Nerf zip22
@darthvaderbutwayshittier7054
Жыл бұрын
But good.
With the picatinny option you could mount this on an actual rifle in case you ran into an unexpected nerf battle while operating.
i was going to be like "wish it had some way to wire in a remote trigger" and BOOM! apparently it has it already! XD
remember that switching firing modes is faster than switching to your secondary which is faster than reloading
This is Orky as hell, I love it
I have made it my mission to make the most "Blaster full" blaster. Safe to say I'm buying or making AT LEAST 3 of these. Weight nor practicality is a concern. I just want it to be a funny, cool, or just stupid fun thing to make. I'm attaching the 3 on the front of said blaster and other things in other places.
Very good idea, and it works amazingly. However, there's no real way to comfortably fire the Herja. I feel it would have done better to be a sort of mag-fed foregrip with a trigger?
I want to see you run with one of these on each side of the main blaster and a remote button with a y-split cable to fire both at once with a single button. Overkill!
This could also be used a good wrist or even hip mounted last stand type blaster
