I love the chronograph number line, definitely helps compare the velocity of different blasters

Wanted to say Coop, you were my gateway into the community and I was able to really get into modding at a time where there were very few people to play with and very little reason to do it other than the reward of the task itself. To see a blaster I've designed featured by you and well regarded is surreal to say the least. Those design decisions that you liked, such as the ambi and firing hand operable mag release, or the way that designing a buffer tube stock despite the challenge of fitting a battery inside tickled my tacticool conditioning, I'd have to say that you yourself are part of what spawned this!

I wanted to say to you flygonial that you were the one who pushed me to fully overhaul my first nerf blaster. You replied to my question on MTBs rapidstrike mod guide and it was what pushed me to do a full lipo mod instead of using IMRs. I also didn't have anywhere to use it, so I eventually lost interest in the hobby until recently. Arriving as a freshman on my campus, I found that they did HvZ, so for the first time in 6 years, my old rapidstrike saw action, and it performed beautifully. Thank you for your contributions to this hobby.

@@fatshpee7174 That's sick, no other words for it. I've not had many people to play with for a while during my involvement in the hobby to the point where a lot of the modding itself was the fun itself. Of course, I know many people get a lot more satisfaction out of playing, and I'm glad to hear your blaster performed well. I've not been as active in the hobby in part because of school but also because I've picked up another hobby. That flywheel auto-shotgun is something I still want to work on ahaha.
Do note that the Gryphon is extremely customizable with body kits, alternate flywheel setups and even solenoids and full-auto or select-fire kits! All you need is a printer and a dream. It's the Stryfe of 3D-printed blasters. Edit: I also personally wouldn't recommend buying it off Frontline Foam if you have your own printer. It's an open-source blaster and uses pretty easy-to-find metric hardware.

The variations in the Gryphon are great! I found the original design to have a few things that could be improved though. I’d check some of those things out. Oh, and the motors and wheels aren’t super easy to come by and getting alignments right can take a bit of tweaking.

Love the new chrono comparison display and the target you put up during the firing demo, makes it easier to see where you're hitting.
Love the new chrono line. Helps visualize the difference between blasters
Printed one and absolutely love it. It’s run for about 2 years without a hiccup. It’s significantly more sturdy than everything else I’ve printed with the exception of the Meowser
I like the target. It shows how effective a blaster would be shooting a person at a reasonable engagement range
The new chronograph line is super rad
The tactical preview is such a nice segment, still watching the rest of course!!
Hey I just noticed the new Chronograph Line, and I think it is a great addition to the Chrono results! You can compare very easily, with a visual image, to other blasters on the market. That’s pretty rad!
Really glad that the format stays the same and the energy is on a whole new level! It shows that it payed off to do what you like instead of having to be disappointed in Elite 2.0! Good on you!
I like the tactical preview It really makes me watch the entire video Hope you continue BTW you are the best coop
I have made 3 gryphons and they are the most used blasters I have. Consistent accurate and really fun. The trigger feels good because it is a rack and pinion, gives it a nice feel and snappy response.
I love the graph you added for the chronograph results !!! Thank you coop !
I really enjoy the new graphic in the firing analysis, good visual indicator.
I love the couple additions to the review this new year! Adding the human sized target and comparison chart for other blasters in similar FPS ranges is super helpful to get a more accurate representation of the blaster. Thank you coop!
Great video! Loved the chart showing the FPS difference.
Love the scale for the chrono readings, great addition!
the coop intro never gets old
Good gracious those reloads were clean
i like the new target, gives a better visualization of the spread. It would be funny if you loaded it up with elite darts and every single one missed the target.
I love the new format!! Keep doing videos on blasters you love, it makes this much more entertaining
It's truly amazing how far the homemade blaster world has come. It's crazy to believe that when I started playing nerf all we had was the old yellow N strike line . So bad that we resulted to making our own PVC blasters(NIC) . And I'm glad to know that people are still making there own blasters. Great vid coop!
Love the change up of your review style low key but very nice
Love the new chronograph comparison chart Frank! Also, do you plan on reviewing the Elite 2.0 Stormcharge soon? Great review as always!
Yo dudebro, with all the super stock and half dart blasters nowadays (loved the graphed fps comparison) could you make a video going over the different classes of blasters? Similar to your series/dart overviews, bc with the different levels of fps and now different dart types it can get confusing. Loving the minor changed you've made to keep the channel fresh!
Im so glad coop will never stop saying things are painted clear. Keep speaking the truth man!
I like the tactical preview at the beginning of the video
I'm just loving all the improvements in the video! Keep it up man!
Man I love that popping sound with each trigger pull
I liked the addition of various shots of the blaster usage from different angles at the beginning. Very cool
love the new chrono number line
It's nice to see products for sale that have variable FPS figures. Sometimes it's hard to find blasters in the range above "70 FPS Elite" and below "200 FPS indoor injury machine" for sort of "casual+" play.

When built yourself, the Gryphon could probably be set up for anything between 90 FPS and almost 300 FPS, the lowest being if you used stock Stryfe wheels with 43.5mm spacing and shot half-lengths (which get lower FPS per same set-up). Though this is a tangent, thanks to neat tricks and new tech, I saw the practical limit of that FPS cap average go from 210-220 FPS when I first designed the blaster (with two-stage Daybreak) to 240-250 (wide bore and even tighter or staggered crush), to about 290-300 now with Banned Blasters' wheels.
0:24 nice sound !!! it goes pop! pop! pop!
Dude love the new format you seem pumped! I would love to see more 3D printed stuff you find cool!
hey coop! glad to see you happy and healthy :)
Thanks for the new visual for the fps. That’s a pretty good way to know what you’re playing against. Awesome vid
Worker mags Works Really well, thats some Really Nice accidental puns right there!
Awesome video! Great to see some actually useable blasters and not random amazon crap on the channel. Keep up the great work!
It's cool to see how far 3D Printed blasters have come.
the video features are great, seeing the silhouette and the how it lines up with others blasters nice addition.
Hey coop I recently purchased the nexus pro because ur review was great and I’m satisfied with it so tks for a great review!
DAMN DUDE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE ITS BEEN LIKE 8 YEARS IM HAPPY YOU MADE MY CHILDHOOD
I love the shape of this blaster, plus all of its bodykits that are available.
That comparison in Firing analysis to other blasters is pretty neat, I like it!
I realy like this. Keep up the good vids man ❤️
Wow, I loved watching you as a kid. I love his contact.
Love your new format keep it up
Two things that Coop left out are a dual-stage setup, upping the muzzle velocity to 200fps, and the fact that the different parts are just swapped between the different versions, so the full-length mag well and the dual-stage flywheels will lengthen the blaster an inch or two each.
I absolutely love these videos I've been watching for 3 years now and I'm starting to getting into modding and your chanel covers everything so thanksl u and I hope u stay my favourite youtuber intill I die
Very nice design!
the reloads at 2:20 were clean af
About time we see a 3d printed flywheeler thats worthy of being a primary! #FLYWHEELMASTERRACE
Nice to see you have finally discovered the Gryphon :)
Finally a "blaster" channel that does not bring braces and SBRs. Thanks Coop
3d printing sure has come a long way
keep up the great work coop :)
nice I would buy this for the next blaster i buy thx for the vid keep up the good work😀
🔥🔥! Have you seen the Np5 version? Also the banned blaster cages that hit 200 fps out of the box?
So stoked for all the third party and community blaster videos Coop is gonna do. Hoping to see some modding too.
Coop, you should make a new, very competitive load out. I’d like to see more of that tacticool gear!!!
Great videos love the new you:)
I love this guy. He looks and acts exactly how I expect a Nerf nerd too look.
Great video coop like the new chart you have now very tacticool awesome video dude bro
This channel makes me go "YES"
I love the new "Tactical Preview"!
I like that he uses the old elite colour scheme. Very reminiscent of the good old days.
This is definitely my next blaster investment
Coop is a champion of the John wick flick 0:28
love the numberline for the chrono
Personally, ain't a big fan of half length darts, but this one... It makes a strong point.
The stock reminds me of the Modules ultimate customizer pack stock good times
I love this shift in the channel
Lovley to see the hobby evolve in such a way that we don't need to depend on just what Hasbro are releasing.
Dude, you have a blue smog… You’re awesome! Flywheel Master Race making a comeback
That gun is beautiful!
I was literally at the Frontline Foam store yesterday!
Glad you gotten one my friend, hope you are doing well
Sick blaster bro
Painted clear 😆 always funny!
Blue and orange blaster, just like Sonic The Hedgehog, Frank.
The first time I heard it fire I immediately smiled
i love that he still uses "painted clear" even to this day, honestly one of the best jokes i've ever heard
I am looking forward to the future of this channel Frank covering things that actually interest him makes for better videos
2:13 Love This! OMG we got TWO!!! 3:28
As promised, cool stuff
I will use this with the Zinc 2.0 and have the best load out. 🔥
Dude, you have a blue smog… You’re awesome
Man I haven't been here in like 5 years Bro has changed a lot...
Great video coop. The gryphon looks awesome but I agree and wish it was injection molded, also I wish the barrel was a little bit longer just for asthmatics it would decrease performance a little but it would look sweet.
hey coop772 i wana tell you that i love the videos in the past

i will keep watching your videos
Scottish player here. I have 4 Gryphon blasters, all from Fancy Impact Blasters (UK) 100fps, full length, thumbhole stock / 130fps, half length, thumbhole stock/ 2x 130fps, half length, pistol form. I love the slim form factor, and highly customisable nature of it. Yes, they are not cheap, and each one is an investment if you don't have a 3d printer, but I'd still pick the gryphon over having to aftermarket mod a big brand blaster. I'd even go so far as to say I would sell my Worker Swift and get a dual-cage 250fps model.
Excellent
Hey coop could you start including the length of blasters in your vids because your size tends to make the gun seem a lot smaller that it is to us normies😅

The Nailbiter was the most shocking example of this for me, saw his review then saw it in stores... He is a large person lol, he makes that thing seem like it was normal sized when in fact it's huge. In short, I agree
I love this blaster and the video was enjoyable to watch, love the new contents to come and it doesn't always have to be nerf blasters Edit: that new fps chart/number line is very nice
I think I saw this similar blaster in pdk films 🤔 insane rate of fire 🔥
“My little nut came out” -Coop 2023. Hats off to you dude bro. You give the best reviews and advice regarding blasters! I’m 16 and still play with them even though my parents hate them 😂
That looks awesome! So sleek and nice sounding. I do wonder what a bulked up rifle version would like like tho.
