Love your review on the watch, I have just ordered the black one, and hopefully be here in about 10 days or so.
Bought the chrome/blue last month. Stunning piece and super accurate.
Took delivery of exactly this model a month ago. It's my daily wear watch. Super delighted with it. Runs 2 seconds per day fast. Can't complain about that! :). Yes, it's a big watch but I am used to it now and comfortable now wearing it. Put my Moonwatch on last weekend and it felt flimsy and cheap!
It was announced at the Time To Move event. Omega and Swatch Group have left Baselworld.
44 mm is perfect - layout iseasy to read. It’s a perfect combo of style and materials also!
This watch is fantastic ! Perfect !
I love big watches.......44mm is OK. Looks beautiful..... My next project in 2020
Love it!
I am plotting to get this watch…This and the Zenith Chronomaster Open are my grail watches
I still like the previous 44mm chrono without waves in blue
Do the coloured buttons cheapen the look, i would have preferred chrome buttons. Stunning watch tho
I ordered this in April of last year when it first came out, but only received it a couple of weeks ago. Mine is the 2-tone yellow gold with blue dial and bezel on a blue rubber strap, and that colour combination is simply stunning. I'm generally not a fan of metal bracelets so I'm having a custom blue crocodile strap with double-deployant clasp made for it as an alternative to the standard rubber. The size is fine on my 18.5-19 cm wrist and it's certainly a thick watch, but if I want a thin dress piece I'll go with my Calatrava, Altiplano or JLC Ultra Thin - this watch is all about 'chunk' :-) Timekeeping is simply the best I've ever seen from a mechanical watch, and I didn't need to adjust it so far. Anyway, unreservedly recommended so long as you have the wrist for it.

Care to post a video of a video of your new timepiece? Personally it would be hard to choose between the yellow gold with blue dial or senda gold with black dial, I'd have to see them in person!

@@mtrideron167 Hi, thanks for your interest. I've never uploaded to KZread before or even used the video function on my phone, but I'll see if I can figure it out later. Until then you might want to watch Tim Mosso reviewing the regular SMP300D in the same colour scheme kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4mTqLOGpNGenpc.html The 42mm on his wrist looks smaller than the 44 on mine. Personally I find the Omega Sedna gold too red and the yellow gold seems to match my skin tone and pale ginger wrist hair. Cheers

@lee van cleef Hi, it's 17.2mm thick. You can see a short video that I uploaded and some comments at the above link on my channel. You can also Google the first (and almost only) detailed review from last year on Monochrome Watches. Hope this helps. Cheers
I tried this watch on a few days ago and although 44mm is perfect for me it is very thick. Like planet ocean thick. Thats a deal breaker for me. Went with the 42mm in Sedna Gold.
I bought the Black dial with Stainless Steel and 18k Sedna Gold on rubber strap.
Tim from Watchbox Reviews.. states it is 17.3mm thick!

WHAT!!!???!!!???
Beautiful Omega chrono diver! Not quite sure about the blue pushers though. And it would be nice if you guys ditch the gloves in all your videos.
Can you try not to move the watch so much and hold it closer to the camera in future videos
What is the thickness?

@Vox Optimatium Glad I asked. TY
I wish you would keep the bloody thing still, long enough for us to have a proper look, also you should know the thickness if doing reviews.

Beautiful , however 44mm is way too big
Omega should do a thinner model by decreasing the diving depth, I'm sure not many people dive that deep. Me personally, the only diving I'll be doing is the muff variety.
Good, But very expensive
Would have liked see you demonstrate Chronograph and if it has 'Jump' hour hand like Planet Ocean Omega Seamaster. A bit waffley: could have got to the point and demonstrated features more logically, instead of off the cuff without planning. They are good watches and superior to Rolex. My only problem is using small circles on the hour and minute hands instead of triangles is difficult to distinguish from the circular indexes. How is the bracelet sized and a demonstration of the micro adjust clasp would have been prefera Le intead of general waffle. This is constructive criticism and I like your channel as you have access to some good watches.

It's the same 9900 movement as the PO Chronograph and thus has the jump hour feature.

David B SG It would be nice if the channel replied. I know it’s just an overview: but omitting unique features like that, which are a commercial plus for the model and brand: which Rolex is devoid of, shows a sloppy; apathetic attitude. You should research all the features of the watch model and practice compressing ehwn into a concise You Tube friendly set time. Like the review I commented on between the Explorer 214270 and Air King 116900. They are only the same in that they share the same dial: the Milgauss the Explorer dial used between 2010-2016. The comparison should have been between the Milgauss 116400GV and Air King 116900 as they are identical watches; apart from the green 50th Anniversary 1957-2007 Milgauss sapphire crystal and with identical 3131 movements which will probably be quietly upgraded from the 3131 to the Chronergy 3231 for @baselworldofficial 2020. The channel ibviously don’t like constructive criticism: that’s easy, just click Unsubscribe like I have on J Anthony’s and everyone else gets a reply except you and you have spent time giving them the correct information.
I have the original and this looks like a travesty version of it. And has it lost the 12 hour dial for the chronograph ... silliness. And the one weakness that i find which is the height dies not seen fixed. Awful .
Guys.....the Planet Ocean has 43,5MM. This one has 44mm. Whats the problem???😂😂😂😎👍 Can't understand this.....
How thick was it, you said??

17.25mm on my micrometer, though I've seen others report as high as 17.8. Not sure why the discrepancy, but after the initial shock you get used to it, and it's not as heavy as you might imagine, especially on the rubber strap

Wayyyyyy too large and too thick for me but a stunner
Nice but a double cheeseburger on the wrist.
WHAT is the thickness of the watch? You have mentioned almost 3 times how big the watch is atleast diameter wise but at no point did you give the thickness. Waste of time.
Whatsoever.
To damm big.

44 mm ?? No. Not for me

Keep the fucking watch still, will you?
Horrible. New Seamaster 300m is beautiful but this chrono.. nope..
@damiman797

Why???
Love the design but will never buy one because it is far too large and it wears large. Not to mention the Reece peantbutter he escape valve. The regular Seamaster is way to big. Omega keeps shooting themselves in the foot. No one is going to wear this saturation diving. Cheers
@davidjb3671
4 жыл бұрын
It wears smaller on the strap since that drops straight down from the lugs, and in my view the pushers help to balance the admittedly superfluous He valve. The overall appearance is best suited to saturation drinking though, and nobody's going to ask you if it's a fake Rolex :-)
