    I just bought the exact same watch a few days ago. I was a bit confused between the blue and black dials. But I opted for the blue since most of my watch collection have black dials. To be honest didn't regret my choice. The blue looks stunning especially under direct light although I wish it was a brighter shade of blue. The watch wears and looks like a premium high end timepiece. I get tons of compliments wherever i go.

    so you can leave this running with no wear and tear to the unit.... so I could literally start this when I wake up stop and reset every day and that would be fine? So I can see the second hand move when I check the time

    How fast does the chronograph minutes hand move? Does it measure 60 or 30 minutes?

  • @mhult33

    @mhult33

    Luis, the chronograph minute hand is in the three o’clock sub dial, which is a 12 hour recorder. So the minute hand goes to 60.

    I honestly don’t know why Tim keeps reiterating that detail, even though he has been corrected in the comments multiple times in several of his reviews of the current SM300M line. For anyone who doesn’t know, on older SM 300M if you left the Helium release valve open the watch was rendered completely vulnerable to water. This isn’t too much of an issue however, as they should only be opened while inside a decompression chamber, as John mentioned. With the release of the new SM300M line, however, if you accidentally leave the He value open the watch is still 50m WR; handy if you accidentally wash it under a tap or fall into a swimming pool with it open. Unfortunately, Tim keeps saying you can open it during a dive, which you absolutely SHOULD NOT DO, because 50m WR is most definitely not enough WR while diving underwater.

    This watch beats at 28,800, not 25,200 how you described. For as many facts that you have and your unnecessary amount of exaggerated vocabulary, I thought you would at least get the beat rate correct. As a side note, it’s odd how you always hold your review watches against your wrist ... even with the rubber strap watches which you can easily put on without holding it with your other hand.

  • @Mightyslinn

    @@sac_fijian6314, I’m not toxic in the least bit. This guy who made the video clearly has a problem with facts and it’s amazing that he gets it wrong on every Omega he reviews with this movement. Furthermore, it’s quite funny that this numb nut who made the video … whatever his name is (I don’t care) doesn’t respond to any comments on here or offers any attempt at a rebuttal because he knows he messed up or for some odd reason is doing it intentionally.
