Here is my review of the Jetboil MiniMo system. I picked up the camping stove and started to use it earlier this year and I absolutely love it!

I’m glad the Minimo is working so well for you. It seems very stable when you are cooking: boiling water or making a one pot meal. 😊

Yes it is AND I’ve tried a couple of meals where I can use the main cooking pod and then the skillet, so you almost have two pans🤓
David, Excellent choice for a stove and review 👍👍👍 I have personally used the minimo for over 100 meals with zero complaints. Nothing is more efficient pound for pound. It works fine at altitude for me at 5000+ feet and boils water the fastest: compared to other backpacking stoves. Thanks for sharing andgiving this recommendation 👌

What a recap of the meals/Mimimo. Like you said, the system seems like it would be good for car camping and hiking. It would be great for an extra cooking source.

Marva it really is a great piece of gear and when you add that skillet, you can do just about any meal 😉

Can you use any canister or does it have to be a JetBoil canister?

Not totally sure because when I picked up mine I just got a couple of the Jetboil ones and haven’t gone through them yet🤓

Any isobutane can or 16oz propane (with adapter)

I just hit up Goodwill & found it. Paid about $1 dollar for it😁
Thanks for sharing. I have a Minimo and added the coffee plunger which works well. Thinking of getting the small pan too. Interested in your views about it particularly. How stable is it and what do you see as the pros and cons of it.

I totally recommend the skillet. I would also go to Goodwill or someplace and pick up a top, it’s made a huge difference when I cook with the skillet. It’s pretty stable once you get everything set up. I love my MiniMo and the skillet makes it even better 😁

Thanks! I’ve only seen the Genesis online but it looks impressive. The funny thing, I can do so my with my MiniMo can’t imagine what I would do with that😂
