This was fun. Thank you!
I live not far from there.. it's wonderful country
Holy cow its is so different to what i remember was a kid!
Very COOL!! Thanks
I like what you’re doing, exploring Washington State Parks. Great videos. Beautiful RV.
Nice review! Just discovered your channel. I'm in Washington state too, but on the East Side. Subscribed.
Thanks for a great video. 🤗
Love going along on your travels. It gives me outdoor enjoyment from home. Thanks to a fellow Trek and Mando fan.
Kanaskat- palmer State Park near Enumclaw is one of our favorites. Really enjoy your channel!
Come east, so many parks on the dry side of the state to visit, and we have water here, too. You should try out Steamboat Rock state park. There is water, hiking and blue skies. And nearby is Sun-Lakes Dry Falls state park. Plus Grand Coulee Dam is not far away and is an impressive visit.
Just found you. Have you hit Lake Sylvia, just down feom Shafer? Or my all time favorite Ft. Worden? Hope to see ya on the road.
Have you been to Tumwater falls? You cant stay overnight there but its so pretty and there are lots of cool state parks near Olympia
I live near here, nice to see you enjoying, i host campers on farm, great video, i subscribed. Camp on y’all!
LaPush RV Park is one of our favorites! Just subscribed to you channel and am loving seeing campsites we haven't been to yet!
Millersylvania is a go to for decades living in Tacoma. The beer garden is sooo worth a return trip. Late summer the plums bloom on the trail and man. Love the content
Such a beautiful area! I grew up near there and we used to ride our bikes to Schafer State Park.
Thank you for looking at the lens! It makes the viewing experience sooooo much better. Love your content. Thanks so much!
I'm looking at a Class C right now 👍🏾
Just stumbled upon your channel! River Meadows is my favorite place to camp. We used to tent camp, but now stay in the yurts.
Cool! Thanks for finding me. I saw the yurts and wondered what it might be to stay in one. Do you enjoy them?😁
@@RVJedeye I do like staying in the yurts! And an added bonus is you get your own bathroom and shower at the out building.
You're rig is a beauty and love your smile and mellow manner. Ah, a quiet camp area...the best. Thank you ~
Thank you so much! Really glad you like the content 😊
I live in Grays harbor. Keep driving. There are better places to go see in Grays Harbor. Lake Quinault is must to go see. The beaches are awesome. Have fun in Grays harbor 😊
Where should I stay again?😂 It’s DEFINITELY on my list to hit up👍🏿
@@RVJedeye There are no camping sites in Lake Quinault. You have to rough it. All the beaches have camping sites. All the Northern peninsula beaches are hiked in. Kalaloch has camping. I'm not sure if they have power? They do have running water. South beaches have vehicle access. 4x4 and AWD recommended. Moclips, Pacific Beach, Sea Brook, Ocean Shores, West Port, and Grayland beaches. The beaches have established camping sites.
Millersylvania is great. Trails are well maintained and lake is nice, plus the beer garden :)
Saw the beer garden when I was there but it wasn’t open yet. May have to go back and try it out😉🍻
Live here and love this place, but doesn't compare to Wynoochee Lake ...check it out. You need reservations for the upper loop, bottom loop is 1st come first serve. Love your video and rig...Happy Camping
Thanks so much and I will look into hitting up Wynoochee Lake 🤓
Great review of the park. It was fun to see your take on the park. I stayed there with my family a couple years ago. You’re right about the close proximity to other campers in the old loop if you need hookups. There are some much more secluded spots which it looks like you could. Too bad you didn’t do the forest loop trail, it’s a great hike through some big trees. Good video. I’ll be back and the free wifi was a nice perk.
Thanks! The new portion of the park is sweet. If I go back I’d try there or go unplugged and stay deeper in the woods for sure😉
@@RVJedeye agreed, it looks nice and spacious compared to the area we stayed up front on the old loop.
Schafer State Park is a great place for rv or tent camping. Things for both kids and adults. The side you call "the new side" is actually not new at all, it was logged off a couple years ago because the trees were getting to be very dangerous and getting to the end of their life. So after they logged the area they redid they access roads and the sites with new asphalt. I have lived 8 miles away for nearly 50 years and we go there to walk the trails with our dog. I have some great memories from Schaefer State Park.
Thanks for watching, the new side I was referring too just opened in May. The ranger said they were working on it for almost a year. Was he wrong?🤓
Yes, it has been part of the park for as long as I have going there. Since 1967
@@RVJedeye Yes, it has been part of the park since I have been going there since 1967
Just found your channel and am binge watching some of your videos. I like your Star Wars geek vibe - unique - so continue to share as such - uniquely you! Stay safe and blessed out there😊
Thank you so much for finding me, hope you continue to dig the channel 😁
The yellow flowers are called “skunk cabbage”.
Appreciate the heads up😊
Great video 🎉🎉
Thanks!😊
Enjoyed the video…. Safe travels 🎉🎉
Why thank you very much 😊
Well definitely try the recipe….. safe travels 🎉🎉🎉
Cool! They turned out great 😁
Went here last year; cute park, but not enough to do there to justify the drive IMO. Went to Kanaskat-Palmer last month, cool to see your video. I'd have a ton of suggestions for next year (remember the 9 month booking window for state parks) but as far as state parks you should check out, put Lake Chelan, Ocean City, or Pacific Beach on the list. Been camping since 2018 and still have plenty of new places to check out! My criteria for a perfect camping trip: WIFI/5G access, fresh water access, closeness to a town to get burgers, and activities - hiking/trails, sightseeing, etc. Hope to see your next video soon!
Thanks for checking me out. The new portion of Schafer State Park is really nice now😁
My son would love a Darth Vader shirt like yours. Can you tell me where to purchase one?
Let me do some digging and see if I can find out😉
@@RVJedeye Thank you!
Dude are you getting grey or did you color your hair? Ironically I went grey/blonde after a surgery.😢
Sometimes it grows out in between hairscuts… no coloring for me😁
Enjoyed the video… safe travels 🎉
Thank you so much hope you’re enjoying the summer so far 😊
Great recap! 🎉😊 I went back to watch your older videos from Tallahassee to Green Bay to Washington. Continued blessings in all you do and continued safe travels. You should also watch a KZread channel called "Where is Tiffany" She also has a Travatto and travels the West coast frequently. Her favorite travels are from Washington down the Oregano coast. She certainly knows how to chef it up on the road as well. #happycamping
Thanks for the heads up! Love learning about new channels and will check hers out😁
Safe travels🎉🎉🎉
Thank you😊
New or used, there are always bugs to work out.
100% and I’m working them out good😂
I have been around there so many times and never saw ViaRV. If you ever need to go there again and wait, our favorite pizza place (worth driving to from North Seattle in our book) is Astoria Pizza right behind Dairy Queen. They have a personal size 2 topping, salad with homemade dressings, and drink for a little over $11 that we love. Beats sitting in the waiting room if it is lunch time😊
And the Sound Transit light rail to Lynwood opens Aug 30th and fares drop to $3 (I work for them) so you can get there easy from work and pay for a lot shorter Uber ride if needed.
Ooooh that sounds good! They may end up being my go-to shop so hopefully I can check out the place one day😁
I like that 🤓
GPS took me on that same ridiculous route last time I was out there. I left beacon hill missed the southbound on ramp accidentally went north and gps took me on a ride to get back to an I5 south on ramp lol. I have no idea why it took me so far out passing numerous options sooner to on-ramp.
lol technology 😂
Good ole deep lake. I live about 17 minutes from millersylvania we spend our summers there at the lake every year.
It’s a really nice state park for sure😁
Was just wondering if the dealership told you about the shower b4 you bought it? If not maybe they would pay to fix it.
I’ll have to look at my paperwork but I just found out they closed down! It was a shock😮
@@RVJedeye WOW😲
@@RVJedeye Did you get gap insurance through the dealership? And or any kind of warranty? Wonder if they went bankrupt or what? Hmmm...
@@RVJedeye I got gap insurance through a family owned rv dealership. I need to cancel it and get it added to my loan with the bank!
@@csmoothsk8ter17 None of what you asked about. They didn't go bankrupt from what I can tell. It was a small family business and I think there were some other issues.😐
DOSEWALLUPS STATE PARK IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO HIKING AND CAMPING, spots farther apart From eachother.
Car camped there awhile back😁 kzread.info/dash/bejne/ppyN2aqPj7Hef8Y.htmlsi=rE1mafwZwsqF1DMq
Congrats on your new rig! From what I understand, this layout Travato actually has a good size shower, so I'd definitely use it ! Definitely love the nimbleness of van RV travel. Enjoy !
Thanks so much. And yes once I get it working I’m eager to try it out for sure😁
Wow you’re really pushing the limits of exploration in that thing. Careful you almost made it outside thurston county.
I’m using it a lot😉
Hey! Thanks for being here. I have an SUV I’ve taken my maiden voyage from WA State to CA. I’ve been in WA a year so I’m trying to learn where everything is. Currently in a stick & brick in South Hill area. I’ll learn from you! Thanks again!!
Lots of excellent State parks to camp in in Washington state
Thanks! And I car camped for a little over two years and you can really still get out there and have fun! If you look on the channel there are some good car camping vids there too🤓
I’m loving exploring everything so far😁
I love ferns🌿
They are nice😁
Cheap gas
Man I wish I saw that again now 😂
@@RVJedeye yes been a few years since Washington gas been below 3 dollars.
You should try Ike Kinswa state park if you haven’t yet. It’s on the shores of Mayfield lake.
I’ll definitely look into it, thanks for the suggestion 😁
Boy time does fly! Three months already! I remember enjoying the episodes where you were driving back to the Pacific North/West! Congrats on the milestones and gracefully navigating the "adventures" that comes along with the "RV'ing Territory"!!! Looking forward to your mods and appreciating the diversity in your camping styles! (State Park | Boondocking | City Wine Tasting). My coach is 37ft, so I don't have the versatility that your Class B provides, but I don't mind managing the logistics to accommodate my setup. Looking forward to enjoying your next adventure!!! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Brakes! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
I know it feels like it was just yesterday when I picked it up😂 Your coach is beautiful and you’ll figure out soon how to maneuver it better than anyone else 😉
